There are A lot of the same ppl/ accounts in the Replies of a TON of different posts.
The forums is very interesting. 🤔
A lot of the replies look like accounts of ppl that don’t even play the game. (Or hardly play)
But
If you click on the account you see that individuals are in the Forums replying to ppl MORE OFTEN than they are in the game itself…
what could this mean.

1 ReplyEdited by Elden Lord Archon: 4/12/2023 3:29:19 PMA lot of people on these forums aren’t happy with the state of the game, so they complain here on the forums. The people who play the game aren’t on the forums as much - they’re playing the game. Other people here are here to post feedback. But the same concept applies. If they’re on here, they aren’t playing the game. For me, I’m on here partly because I’m taking a break from the grind. I’ve noticed a lot of great quality of life improvements with Lightfall, but there’s a lot that could still be done. So I put in my 2 cents and posted some ideas for future QOL updates. Another part of it is that a lot of people on here have a lot of different opinions. And some people (including myself sometimes) just enjoy debating and/or arguing about what changes Bungie should make. It’s like politics for people who are fed up with real world politics.

That the forums are more fun than the game

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 4/13/2023 8:46:39 AMIt’s because the forums have skill based matchmaking now. The accounts you see frequently are people of similar skill in the same pool as you with the same reply to like ratio. Git gud
-
2 RepliesAlts or fanboys with their stats hidden. Ever notice it's always the ones defending Bungie the hardest that have it masked? Trash player = trash opinion.
-
Some I believe are employed by Bungie.
-
These forums just consist of welcome to hollowness if you didn’t know
-
When people are posting they arent playing which is really bad news for a game. Especially if the posts are majority negative. Look at other forums, far less hate and far less player vs player bs. They game is in its death throws now. Its fighting for survival and only reason its still going are players are hard headed and hate change. Bungie doesnt care about this game regardless of the bs "We are listening" vlogs or the woke agenda posts they make. They dont even play this game...thats how bad its become. Devs that dont play thier own game to any degree. As long as we attack each othed they can slide...once players aupport players and stop getting on thier knees for bungie thats when either they will kill the game for good or have to fix it
-
Dont take the forums seriously. I dont. I just post goofy sh*t with the occasional feedback and leave. Nobody here is worth the time.
-
They have an account they dont play d2 on They have 2 accounts as they have kids that play..(thats me) They work for bungie and want to despoil all opposition
-
Yeah, kids here spend more time caring what others do here than they play the game.

Edited by The Legend Himself: GONZO: 4/11/2023 3:59:04 PMCould it mean that the game is in a non-enjoyable state right now for many and they are hoping for a change? I don’t speak for everyone but I definitely speak for myself and that’s exactly what’s going on with me. This game is a pile of garbage ATM and I come to the forums to say my piece in hopes that somebody at Bungie hears me and to confirm that it’s not just me. I’ve sunk more hours into this game than most and have accomplished more than most but I find the game right now to be utterly boring and annoyingly difficult where it should be fun or laughably easy where it should be challenging.
-
It means people would rather whine about the game being "hard" instead of getting better or learning to engage in ways that aren't bot-walking through content.
-
6 RepliesYou know what’s funny? 90% of the posts of people complaining that the game is too hard are under leveled or try to run a Master Nightfall at 1805.
Also they don’t know how to make builds and don’t bother trying
-
A desperate attempt at gaining the attention they're missing in their real life my guess
-
1 ReplyThat the game now sucks and needs a huge turn around.

Well I'm hardly here, and I think I don't see anyone with my name here and there.
-
4 RepliesYeah I just muted a player that uses multiple accounts. Lots of trolls that use multiple accounts on the forums. It’s the same group of bashers that disrupt the forums and upvote trash posts that say the same negative themes, over and over.
-
1 ReplyThere are imposters among us...
-
1 ReplyAlt accounts because crazies like to find your real info and spam the crap out of ya because they did not like your opinion.
-
17 RepliesIt means no life, toxic trolls. They complain about "wokeism" or want something nerfed. I report and block all of them.
-
12 Replies
what could this mean.
Nothing, mostly. Most of the accounts you see on every post with no characters are just alts created by weirdos that like to cosplay as people with standards.
-
3 RepliesHandful of weirdos that brigade the forums; some with multiple accounts that have little to no game activity for years and post more on these forums than people that actively play. It’s the weirdest thing, they are obsessed with the fact the game hasn’t died because the game has gone in a direction they deem was wrong. If I don’t like a restaurant or business I don’t sit outside handing out fliers and stopping people who are trying to go in about how bad the business sucks. I write a review and take my money elsewhere.
-
2 RepliesApparently I don't play, when I can assure you, that I do play. Had some idiot say "Well you don't even play." -blam!-, I play daily. I don't know why my account says otherwise to some people.

Edited by BetweenMyself: 4/10/2023 4:47:42 PMAbout six to nine months ago there seemed to be a surge of complaints about recent in-game changes posted by players who hadn’t logged in for 2+ years as evidenced by their game history, but those numbers seem to have fallen off a bit as they either got bored or learned they could hide their game history after a few of them got called out. But because there are valid reasons why someone might continue posting to the forum after they’ve been inactive in-game for a prolonged period, I don’t imagine the forum moderators would (or necessarily should) institute any sort of system to silence posts from dormant accounts. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Edited by Regret: 4/10/2023 5:05:17 AMThe forums are more entertaining than the game though, it’s always interesting to see the Bungie defence force up their game specially around expansion time…. I wonder who they could possibly be???
