I've already put in for a refund. I simply can't commit to the number of hours that everyone else can put in especially being a dad (I can only commit to 1 hour a week as my kids come first) and the quality of the game has been dropped too much to keep me engaged as it's the same tedious gameplay loop week in, week out, it's just boring. I genuinely wish everyone else the best going forward. Thanks, guys.

The pieces are in place. After lightfall. How are 3 seasons and 'The Final Shape' going to wrap this up? This season so far has been lacking. But seriously - who was Lysander? And why were they rallying forces outside the tower? - what happened to SIVA? On earth and the Exodus ships. - Where do the Vex fit in? - how did Maya Sundaresh and her team copying themselves in the Vex network lead to Neomuna? - what happened to Praedyth? - Is Oryx truly gone? - the worm gods...? - why isn't Mara doing anything? - where is Eris? - where do the Nine fit in? - where does the Drifter fit in? Or his dark motes? - What place do characters like Shaxx, Banshee, Saint, Ana, Petra hell even Shaw have in the narrative? My brain hurts because there are so many more things

Did calus on legendary solo. Took a few tries but I got it. Difficulty it somewhat based on fireteam size.

Yes the solo player experience does suck, HOWEVER, there's plenty of guardians that wouldn't mind taking you through missions until Bungie addresses the issue and actually does something. Also, insulting the company whom I assume you paid for Lightfall, is basically pointless because they have your money and others. They could lose your money and wouldn't care. Instead of writing these kinds of posts, think of ways for positive criticism, for example, offer an idea to fix the problem for solo players and not insult the company that already has your money.

10 RepliesI DON'T THINK LIGHTFALL WAS GREAT COMPARED TO WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, BUT AFTER PLAYING FOR A COUPLE WEEKS NOW, I WOULD NOT SAY IT IS AN UTTER DISASTER. LET ME EXPLAIN WHY. THE GAMEPLAY FOR THE CAMPAIGN WAS ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD, BUT THE STORY FELL VERY SHORT OF IT'S POTENTIAL, CREATING HOLLOW SHELLS OF CHARACTERS THAT WERE BARELY EXPANDED UPON. THE CLOUDSTRIDERS WERE INTRODUCED AS A NEW "BAD -blam!-" TYPE CHARACTER THAT WAS MEANT TO BE AS STRONG AS GUARDIANS, BUT THEY ESSENTIALLY DID NOTHING. AND CALUS DID NOTHING BUT SIT ON HIS THRONE AND COMPLAIN UNTIL THE WITNESS TOLD HIM TO STOP BEING LAZY. I WILL SAY I HAVE ENJOYED THE POST-CAMPAIGN CONTENT, ESPECIALLY THE RAID. I WILL 100% AGREE WITH THE CRITICISM THAT IT IS WAS TOO EASY ON CONTEST MODE, BUT I STILL REALLY ENJOY THE RAID: THE MECHANICS, THE SCENERY, AND NEZAREC AS A BOSS. IT'S TOO BAD THAT YOU ARE DONE WITH THE GAME. BEST OF LUCK IN YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

2 RepliesI almost wonder if this is a smarter Bungie employee. The point is entirely valid and true. But putting it in all caps etc will invite ad hominems and redirect due blame and criticism of Bungie on to other things. ::::::::: I will say after 7000 previous hours I've stopped playing. However, perversely, the Steam player figures are sky-high - I can't reconcile terrible DLC with increased popularity at all.

It is not even difficulty. I went thru D1 and was fine. It’s the freaking boredom!!!!’ We used to get 4-5 new strike per DLC. New PVP maps. I am no God at PVP but I had a blast in D1 because they had a ton of great maps. PvP is content as well and they completely ruined it. How about Gambit? I actually liked that activity. With 6-7’maps, it could be fun. 1-2 maps? This DLC for the money they charge gives us one lousy strike and 2 updated. I don’t want Battlegrounds as strikes. That’s why I did not buy. Bullet sponges only confirmed my decision. Will buy on sale down the line for a much reduced price. This product is simply bad! I want another Forsaken or better Taken King. Those were DLCs.
