PS5 Neomuna/Terminal Override Crashes
Hello!
I have been experiencing sporadic crashes on PS5 when in Neomuna, specifically during Terminal Override. My screen will freeze for a few seconds, and then the game will completely crash. It sends me to a "Submit this Crash Error to Sony" screen, which I have been doing.
Has anyone else experienced this? I already deleted and redownloaded the game just to check, but it still happens.

1 ReplyI have attempted the rare Public Event 3 times and each time my game crashes (PS5). I've noticed that it always crashes at the end of the event when you have to fight 3 large Vex bosses at the same time. But it has only affected me as during my 1st attempt i was with a friend and their game didn't crash while mine did. I hope this helps in fixing this, Im sure im not alone on having lost an Exotic drop.

2 RepliesI was going to say I haven’t crashed on my ps5 but today I got the rare public event for first time in vex incursion and on step 3 or 4 I crashed. Using strand as well

I don't think its just TO. I had this this happen in seasonal content. Strand tends to be culprit. I think Strand is giving off spaghetti coding or causing an overflow from the numbers and effects. Way too many bugs this season to count. Meh story is one thing, it'll pass. But being unplayable literally hurts my wallet.

Every day multiple times. Its annoying as hell, started since lightfall. Always happen while some one is using strand, most of the times while im with a warlo ck with all the treadlings going off. Its making the game unplayable.

Start the Destiny 2 app on the PS5 with the latest updates on a PS5 with the latest updates 2. Log in on a character, does not to have to be on Strand, works with other subclasses as well 3. Go into the character menu -> Select Journey -> Commendations 4. The Destiny 2 app crashes Note that the game crashes sporadically while playing Terminal Override and other events too, but this is a bit trickier to recreate. [b][update] Turning off HDR fixes the problem described above on my PS5 device[/b]

6 RepliesYes it happening to many of us and there have been a bunch of posts about it on here. Bungie has responded and said they're looking into it, but it seems like the kind of thing that will take awhile to fix. HOWEVER, one guy said he rebooted his PS5 into Safe Mode and used the Rebuild DB utility from there and it completely resolved his crashing issue. So i tried it myself and I'll be damned but it seems like it worked. I was crashing every single time, especially if I was on Strand. But I just completed two TOs on my Strand Warlock without a single crash. As far as I can tell there's no downside to doing the db rebuild. When I booted the PS5 back up the icons on the home screen had been rearranged is all. (normally they're ordered by which one you opened most recently) I was literally crashing every time before i tried this so i think it may have fixed it.

It was good for the first week but last night I was doing the legendary campaign on my Hunter and it crashed 3 times outside the vault at the very end. And then just right now it happened again 3 times during Terminal Overload. I was on Strand every time it crashed.

Without fail. Im crashing on ps5 100% of the time while doing any public event. Im using strand and it always crashes. Didnt crash when using dawnblade.
