Seriously, it gets worse each time you do.

2 RepliesYou know? I think you may be on to something😂. Its a process, but a process they've been working on (including D1) since 2014. They've had 8 years, going on 9, so far. Wait, wow its only 8 years old? It seems so much longer, maybe that's a testament to how far its fallen. Anyway, its too bad such a cool game had to be developed by such a cut-rate team. They've got financial struggles because they are a very low income AAA developer, comparatively, but maybe they should, I don't know, cut back 95% on physical merchandise? I feel like waaaay too much of their money went there instead of into the game.

1 ReplyEdited by TheShadow: 1/9/2023 5:17:39 PM
The game has gotten better.
This quote someone posted on here or other quotes similar to it are false, and it's annoying how this business is misleading the players about how they "are trying to improve this game" when what they have done just this last year or so is100% proof that that is false. You can't hide one's actions that have already taken place, and It's a fact no one can hide even though some fans try to blow it off and try to downplay how bad this game actually is at this very moment. It's in the worst state it's ever been in since Forsaken, and it's only getting worse over time. Their actions as a business speak the truth of what they are about these days and that isn't a good thing at all. When you compare D1 to D2, D2 is literally far worse off than D1 ever was in just about every aspect of it except for the amount of content, but this business has proven without a doubt that the amount no matter how much they provided means absolutely nothing when the quality of it has gotten worse over time.
How is constantly looking for ways to remove what benefits the players "improving the game", or... How does looking for ways to make ranking worse in whatever activity How does looking for ways to extend the unnecessary grind How does removing loot from an activity How does adding old useless loot instead of new to an activity How does looking for ways to increase the cost to purchase items How does rigging an "RNG" system How does looking for ways to add more monetization How does adding more and more junk loot in the shop How does the way overdone recycled content How does looking for ways to time-gate story content, etc... How does not playtesting your content as they have admitted and everyone can see How do these cheap throw-away seasons (with all of the above, and yet to come improve this game let alone the players experience???)
I literally only scratch the surface of what's wrong with this business/game. Now add their outdated engine/P2P in 2023 people with all the bugs, and issues it has with minimal effort and nowhere near enough manpower put into this game even though they have the money to do so. Every time they "fix or adjust" anything in this game it ends up worse off than it was in the first place. Grant it, D1 had its issues, but nowhere near as bad as D2 is in its current state. The one thing even though D1 had its issues with what was left of the actual developer Bungie, that is gone at least put the effort into the game to move it forward from The Taken King on, and actually improved the game up until D2 launched. In D2 they have done nothing but the complete opposite in terms of the game structure/experience with very minimal improvements once a year just to say"we are listening" and to keep a lot of you playing since Activision dropped them 4 years ago. That's not improving the game people, that's making the game worse. Edit: For anyone wanting to reply to me trying to trigger me. Just a heads up, it won't and never will work. This is not about hating on this business, this is about telling the truth and facing the facts in spite of anyone's opinion about me.

D2 going "Free-2-Play" was the beginning of the end, but Bungie repeating the mistakes of Destiny 1's chaotic development and somehow making even that worse by regressing from the high point they finished D1 on with Rise of Iron... Remember 4v4 Crucible? Static rolled weapons and armor? Single-use purchasable shaders? A general lack of ability/subclass customization? The suits who decided to turn Destiny into over-monetized, minimal viable content, interchangeable seasonal schwarbage have sucked the joy from even the fire content drops.

2 RepliesBungie corporation are just a bunch of fake woke hypocrites. They celebrate all kinds of social justice issues but at the end of the day, they are just a bunch of greedy corporate hacks who’ve lost the drive to create a cohesive, compelling story and provide an atmosphere that gives the players what they want. It’s just a dumb machine designed to extract more money out of the player base. Any folks who pay full price for all the expansions and DLC’s and then on top of that, buy silver for over-priced cosmetics are simply nothing but whales for these vapid phonies to exploit for money. Screw these people. All the OG creatives that brought us the original Destiny are long gone, and all that’re left are greedy suits who don’t see us as anything but gullible idiots and dollar signs, and the devs are all blue-haired weirdos who see the game as a chance to fulfill their weird woke fantasies in the form of a video game. 🤮

It’s hilarious this post is here cause they gave everyone all mods and broke the game yet again. Gambit is messed up and no one is getting rewards and a bunch of people are getting error codes. Way to go bungo. Really showing me you dont deserve my money
-
I'm not sure Bungo are trying tbh. What the game is, is the best they can do. A working, fully stocked, regularly refreshed dress shop, with some lacklustre recycled (and resold) gaming on the side.

Seriously, it gets worse each time you do.
Ain’t that the truth! Hahahahaha! D2 launch is a great example. They changed everything from D1 that millions left and never came back. They broke their own game by themselves and they’ve been trying to revert everything back trying to save it. Hahahahaha! Too late, they can’t save it. Millions left and never came back. Even Activision left because it wasn’t making enough money for them anymore. Hahahahaha! Some gamers stayed behind having delusions that the game might improve. It didn’t, and it won’t. Hahahahahah! Look up their recent GDC presentation, it’s hilarious! No more “Overdeliver” for this game. Hahahahaha! Their making excuses for their shortcomings unable to create new and fun experiences. So they are patting themselves in the back making “Fast” recycled content. Then they want to charge you more for it. Hahahahaha! You are correct, it is getting worse, FAST! Hahahahaha! They made excuses since Activision left. First, they said they can’t make Forsaken type content anymore. Hahahahaha! Remember those 2 studios from Activision? Gone! Hahahahaha! Now this, another excuse to not “Overdeliver” from lack of creativity. Hahahahaha! But don’t worry, you’ll pay more for it. Hahahahaha! They also said D2 almost died in 2018. Guess what? That’s because they almost killed their own game when D2 launched with a broken game, weak and slow guardian, double primary, no random rolls, specials on heavy slot, 4v4 PvP in small maps, antiquated P2P network, destroyed the D1 vault but then recycled the exotics back to D2, etc. It was hilarious! Hahahahaha! They did it themselves, destroyed their own game. And now they are still trying to save it and make excuses for it. Hahahahaha! Game is going FAST down the dumpster. Hahahahaha!

1 ReplyDMG left a sinking ship -blam!- this pvp team is worthless
-
Must admit everytime they do a 'new' expansion or season i think 'i wonder what they broke this time in fixing nothing that was asked for'......i think putting an unavoidable exotic quest in the middle of a story line was a bit low as well.

Edited by Tru-Zrue: 1/8/2023 8:56:15 AMLel Edit: I was also on the side of innovation and trying new things with bungie….nooo nooo noooooo. Stick to what works what fans responded positively towards. None of these new additions are…it bungie.

1 ReplyYeah these guys are a awful. The people on the sandbox/PvP teams might want to look at a different career field. I’m thinking something less critical/technical.
-
Lets murder the destiny franchise, put an end to it, pull its life support.
-
1 ReplyThe worst part about is the irony of all of the “X will kill Destiny” posts. We never needed a Destiny-killer when Bungie has always been trying to plunge a stake into the heart of their own game.
-
Game has been going downhill since shadowkeep to be honest.
-
Saving my money. Waiting on First Descendent, D4, Armoured Core This game is going nowhere but in circles.
-
Game gets worse every update since beyond light…
-
1 ReplyUnder delivering is Bungo policy. Over deliver and you risk getting fired.
-
11 RepliesI’m done playing this game until light fall. I’m prepared to be disappointed even by that
-
13 RepliesRemember when the Bungo defenders said Activision was the problem👍🏾
-
2 RepliesWith the way they are handling Destiny really ruins their reputation. They need to fix the game asap or else noone will buy future Bungie products
-
13 RepliesThis game is likely used to train interns before giving them a real job working on their other game.
-
2 RepliesThe game has gotten better. D1 is overrated. It’s better than most games now and it’s probably the only game you play.

If only more people would learn this truth.
-
Yeah tbh a lot of the things the playerbase wants (at least pvp-wise) aren't new features, they're reversions of awful changes Bungie made.

I hate bashing posts but I gotta say this one made me laugh.
