Do you have a secret shame about Destiny 2?
Mine is that sometimes I log in just to play Gambit. And not just to complete some quest or there are double ranks or to get some weapon skin, but because I feel like it. Whew, that was a load off my chest.
So does anyone else want to share something they usually wouldn't admit on a public forum that they like about Destiny?

I’m ashamed of the many directions this game has taken. So much of what is differs from my own outlook and ideas. I still login to hopefully see tweaks that begin to change the game for me, in a better way.

2 RepliesDefinitely spending hours changing my appearance in the tower, only to end up exactly how I looked at the start. It’s especially bad when I get a piece of gear with really good stats, and I try to min/max as best I can. So far, I have a legendary armor set for each sub class, and I’ve been trying to get exotics that work with the stats of those sets. So far, I have a good set for every subclass except for my stasis for my warlock, and I’ve managed to get at least 20 of each exotic armor piece that either perfectly fits with the subclass that uses it, or a close enough roll (60 out of 111 total, but I haven’t recounted in a minute) I really hope loadouts fix how much armor you can hold at once, because with a minimum of 4, soon to be 5, slots dedicated to just legendary armor is not working for me.

Another one from me. Titan main. After four years I still can't run that damned Warlock well. I admire these flying -blam!- jumping high above me for 5 minutes which I can only do half way with Lion Rampants or Stompies for my Hunter. Using Wings of Sacred Dawn. Still crashing into walls and rocks. Falling into the abyss. Cannot get that sh.. up. After 4 years. Warlock disabled.

I screw my team in pvp cause I run wack loadouts and spend more emoting than I do fighting.

1 ReplyMine is still using a glaive in pvp since it came out. Its been broken and i mean broken as in a buggy mess to use for like 3 seasons? Uninstalled and took breaks just to come back and still see glaives dont work in pvp, but this season i think theres a difference? My hits actually hit but the shield strength feels nerfed. Wasnt it 75% in pvp? Feels like 30-40%, i have 5k pvp kills on my glaive but all the sudden im garbage in pvp this season and i only pvp.

I enjoy Trials of Osiris and have gotten every flawless seal for it since it’s been back. Even Guilding it.

I'm have the Reckoner title. I have the Dregen title and have guilded it every season since it was possible. Gambit is fun. Suffering is enjoyable.

But what I’m ashamed of is I still don’t understand or know what 75% of the mods and random rolls and weapon perks do, let alone proc/activate them. If the weapons feels nice, I keep it. If the armor looks nice regardless of stats, I keep them. Here’s are good examples. Grand overtures, just found out a few days ago that it can shoot missles. For a long time, I didn’t even know Borealis can change damage type. My mind was blown when I accidentally found out.

1 ReplyI used only a Fighting Lion as my main weapon on hunter from when I started all the way to Witch Queen because it made the enemies ragdoll in the air and I found it hilarious. I also have a thing for Petra Venj but I probably should of kept that to myself.
