I may get a refund on Lightfall as well…
I’ve seen a few posts about getting refunds. Sounds like a good idea. I don’t think another solid 2 weeks of new story and a subclass are worth the $100.
I could be wrong.
Also not worth it, this app. Some little hall monitors running around, that don’t even work for Bungie, pulling down posts where players are actually having discussions. One person can’t handle a discussion and the rest of us are locked out?
Go get a job.

So I'll probs cancel my pre-order and only pre-order the lone dlc instead, since the legendary campaign, new raid, and new subclass seems appealing enough for the 40ish bucks.

no destiny dlc is worth 100$. doesn't matter how many crap seasons come along with it either. this game is getting more and more expensive and giving us less and less in return.

Don’t fall prey to petulant brats that think it’s funny to bash the game. Most of them will be here playing too and as always posting negative things because they’re miserable.

1 ReplyNever preorder anything. This practice 9 times out of 10 allows game developers to ship a substandard or even unfinished product. Once they have your money they don't have much to worry about. I can almost guarantee there's going to be serious issues on launch day. Mark my words.

I thought pre-orders are not charged until a week or so before release, thus nothing to refund, you are just canceling your pre order. I could be wrong about the timing of charges, I never pre-order!

1 Replyi stopped playing D2 this past month, kinda feels good. I remember logging in doing everything for all 3 characters for so little. so much time wasted for so little earned and dismantled. where is this game headed now? halloween looked so lack luster in content.

They do the bare minimum and refuse to fix issues for multiple seasons then charge you for the fix in upcoming dlcs. Not dealing with that foolishness anymore. I canceled my pre order.

Nothing will be worth the $100 or whatever. You'll get stuffed rehashed content added back in that you already paid for, and empty seasonal open ended content that's flat after six weeks leaving you bored to tears grinding the same dead content after that. Strand will come out broken to sell DLC and eventually certain classes will get nerfed, or others will get hammered immediately. The challenges will all be the same down to almost the same week as previous.

2 RepliesDo as you want, it's your money. Spend or don't spend it if you feel the game is lacking. The more people that do this, the more likely Bungle will put out a "We're Sorry - We'll do Better - We Appologize" Vidoc by one or more Managers and then expect everyone to swallow it. The sad truth is they have all their Best and Brightest working on Matter or other IP's and Destiny is just the over-milked, under fed Cash cow that pays for it.

I paid 140 dollars for lightfall I played destiny senice beta of D1 I understand panic over expansion we haven’t seen season 19 sure bungie keeps raising prices for expansions is getting on my nurves I feel like bungies marketers need a reality check

3 RepliesI understand wanting to walk away. I haven't bought mine yet but I'm still going to get it. I think about it like this. That hundred dollars buys: -the new Lightfall campaign -the new strand subclass -associated new exotics -the new Neomuna exploration area All that is just the first 60 bucks. Then: -4 season passes -access to all associated gear and activities -new craftable weapons -a new dungeon every other season -a new raid evert other season At ten dollars a pop. It's a years worth of game. I have gripes sure. Hell I'm a Warlock main. But I'm too invested in the story now not to finish it. I still enjoy the gameplay too. I just wish it was easier to run team content and organize characters. It looked like they were going to address a lot of that with in game changes next season. We'll see how much of an overhaul it turns out to be but I'm hopeful.
