Legacy focusing, this either is gonna be an absolute genius move, or an absolute disaster
Now I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw this in the most recent twab, I got pretty excited, I thought "wow now I have the chance to get my hands on weapons and armor I missed!" I still am missing the exile armor from trials along with exiles curse and astral horizon, so who knows how this is gonna go, I just hope that Bungie doesn't mess it up though. I'm pretty sure this may also be the case for iron banner, gambit and vanguard weapons like the palindrome for example 👀

Bungie said they want the entire light vs dark saga to be played from begining to end. Unfortunately for them this saga did not start with shadowkeep or end with lightfall. long ball this why was Kings fall even put into destiny 2 there is no story element in game behind its introduction...

7 RepliesTransmog was trash when they released it. Weapon crafting was/still is a dumpster fire post-release. The 2 most hyped up "QoL" improvements were a joke. This will also be a joke. Don't get your hopes up too high, guardian.

If you think anything they implement these days isn't attached to annoying, lenghty grinds, you are mistaken my guy. Will most likely be tied to getting 15 rng red borders to unlock the capability to focus a certain legacy weapon while you have to do 3 banshee rank resets and the actual focusing cost will be 1 golf ball, 500 legendary shards and 100 spoils for a single nightfall weapon focus. That's what i instantly see when reading any "change" by nowadays Bungie.

I really feel like all it is gonna do is focus trials and iron banner instead of more older content especially NF weapons too ( if they could add nightfall focusing that would be nice)

Meh not too excited especially how much they charge for focusing now if anything they need to change the cost to 50 like gambit or less but knowing them it's a 100

They want to make the game as hard as possible to balance, that way they can focus all those time on that instead making innovative, fun content with replay ability.

This is a clear attemp at creating more low effort dev content for a long grind for players.

Its bungie, the options are... Itll be extremely bland and basic Or Itll be broken af, take 3 months to fix, THEN be extremely bland and basic There is no "good" or "win" option with bungie, itd always one extreme or the other.

2 RepliesHonestly agreed it will be a hit or miss here and if it’s not just old iron banner gear, trials gear etc but past season weapons and gear also (black armory, season of dawn etc etc) then this might be the best thing to happen if not there will be hellfire (then again on here when was the last time this place wasn’t on fire).
