The amount of spam that's in pvp right now is the worst this game has seen by far. Its too much. Why touch airborne accuracy? Gun play before was at a very good balance, all it needed was a bit of tweaks here and there. Every season is a contradiction from the last. Maybe instead of pushing out more content, fix the problems that persist now.

Overshields, classy restoration, Omni damage resist, bubbles, rifts, healing grenades, airborne ineffectiveness, child of the old gods, radiant buffs on a whim, bad players being rewarded with special ammo for dying a lot. It is the worst it has ever been. During the 30th anniversary Bungie came out with a sandbox patch and claimed they were focusing on gunplay, only to butcher that with void 3.0 and now solar 3.0, and destroyed airborne gunplay in the process too. I have a feeling this is only going to get worse too, because people complained about void 3.0 for 3 months during WQ and they didn't do a thing about it. They released solar 3.0 with even more broken stuff. I honestly feel like this is actually the end of crucible. People have been saying this for a long time but I feel like right now is the start to A LOT of people just straight up leaving this game. I watch a lot of streams and most of them seem so miserable while playing in this garbage meta, moreso than I have ever seen. I already see a lot of them playing other games like Apex more and more, and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them are trying to get away from Destiny if they can, and I hope they do. The people I used to play Crucible with no longer play anymore, and I doubt I will touch it again either. It is by far one of the most miserable experiences, and being that video games are supposed to be fun, I don't see any reason to go in there and play. There's certainly no loot incentive to play.

2 RepliesYou don't enjoy kids bot walking in spawn with controller snipers or kids spamming melees on wifi teleporti g 15m to melee??
-
1 ReplyI think the gunplay is overrated. Without abilities Destiny's combat is just mediocre.
-
You guys kept asking for nerfs, you took away special ammo, now deal with the bs that remains
-
Adapt. There's just more moving parts now than back then, if you can't keep up then get left behind. PvP isn't going to cater to your limited knowledge and lack of understanding.

The game was helping you make your shots or were you just that bad to begin with? Either way, sandboxes change from time to time and everybody who wants to engage in the sandbox needs to learn the new system. Thats how these games work in live service. Take it or leave it.

I just don’t like how often everyone gets overshields

3 RepliesAwful lobby balancing, terrible melee hit registration, constant nerfing of special weapons and their ammo, overshield and healing spam, and now the new airborne changes. It feels like every time Bungie releases a new balance update I miss the old state of the game.

1 ReplyI agree AE. Wasn't needed and definitely needs some tweaks. But other than that I'd say pvp is in a good spot. The loud minority are just nit picking at things that aren't really an issue. P2P connections was always a problem with this game and it's clear bungie won't change that. So don't mention it.

You're always going to get paired up in .2 and .3 while the enemy team has players who've gonna flawless over 100+ times. Then it breaks those teams up saying it'll find a better match only to put you in a losing in progress about to get mercied.

4 RepliesOutside of snipers and loreley I think pvp is in the best state it has ever been for d2.
-
It’s all in the matchmaking
-
if you played skorri artifact clever dragon meta in d1 you would not feel this way. its not great but it’s been much worse
-
No matter what Bungie does PvP will always be in "the worst state" for somebody.
-
3 RepliesIt is far from the worst it’s been. I get if people have problems with it but come on.

3 RepliesI am a pvp main and I can not bring myself to play it. Once they added rng to bullets hitting, what is the point? Which ever team rng favors wins now. Of course this is just one of many problems in pvp.
