Why would I get suspended for getting kicked to orbit? I never quit!!!😡
-
A couple of months ago I got hit with a minor suspension by Bungie for, get this, the other team using cheats. First round in Trials we went against a 3 stack that had Heavy from the beginning. The next round was 20 round Witherhoards going off. Bungie don’t give a *Blam* about their anti cheat or PVP. Just have to deal with it.

Because people in the past forced internet issues to get out of losing matches without the penalties. Player demand forced Bungie to change the system do leaving for any reason now is subject to a auto loss and if needed a suspension.

They should try to reconnect a player before it boots them to orbit.

Bro I logged on yesterday started my 1st trials game then 💥 boom 💥 booted back to orbit and hit with a warning ⚠️ so go to farm some leviathan chest then we go back to trials, game starts and we get the W for the 1st round then 💥 boom 💥 booted back to orbit and hit with a suspension 😱 I logged off right there and then.

1 ReplyEdited by Sweet Lew 88: 6/15/2022 3:10:20 PMBecause it can't tell if you pulled your Ethernet cable or if you quit unintentionally. Are you getting error codes? What do they mean? Maybe only play when you have good internet connections if you're worried about penalties for leaving?

McDonald's WiFi will do that.

4 RepliesThe Bungie servers in general need a serious upgrade. It’s not us. Some of us have the fastest internet with the best connections available and still get kicked. “It’s not me, it’s you”
-
2 RepliesHave you tried… I don’t know… plugging your Ethernet cable back in?
-
Yeah, no ones gonna believe you got suspended for dc’ing a single time, buddy.
-
Cuz it wasn't your first time quitting or having network issues and getting kicked from comp or trials
-
Count it as a blessing!

19 RepliesKid you probably have a terrible internet connection and you know it. I played and messaged kids about their terrible connection and they’re like “sorry I’m playing at McDonald’s” like come on man

1 ReplyYou should have waited for the match to be over then leave otherwise you are playing on an Wi-Fi connection instead of LAN that’s how I fixed my problem on PS5.
