Not only did we get the LEAST AMOUNT OF -blam!- EFFORT POSSIBLE put into making this a thing, it's so underwhelming I feel like I should change my class for the first time ever - I've been a Titan since D1 but there's a reason all you see in Crucible is Hunters and Warlocks - because Titans SUCK now, I think this is some straight up disappointing content right here guys. Say what you will I just needed to vent man, I am so disappointed in the effort put into Titans this patch.
Edit edit edit : just in case readers are confused I'm speaking strictly about PvP content here, I'll concede that solar is pretty decent in PvE if anyone thought I was speaking on that.

Even with that edit, you still didnt explain whats the issue with pvp solar titan. Why dont you edit the whole post and explain yourself instead?

6 RepliesBruh I'm not even a titan main and I can tell you Solar Titan 3.0 is EASILY the best of the 3 just like with Void 3.0
-
Have you hammer charged everything yet? MK.44 stand asides, 100 res, sunspots, roaring flames, elemental charge, supercharged, heavy handed, well of life and a one two punch shotty. You kill everything and never die.

2 RepliesEdited by ZeroEmerald: 5/26/2022 2:13:47 AMAs someone who has mained bottom tree hammers with ashen wake for quite a while now (when not running bubble), I've got to say how disappointed I am with Solar 3.0. We lost a lot and got what in return? A flashy uppercut slam that doesn't do much, as an entire aspect with only 1 fragment slot. Shoulder charge lost melting point as a debuff, we lost mortar blast completely meaning one less melee option and sunspots got knifed again! There's no synergy with gear like khepris horn. Nodes that became fragments are weak. I feel like I've lost my main here, the subclass I would run most of the time. I don't want to use it any more, so I'm going back to void. My hope for the 3.0 rework was to keep our kit, but have more freedom to mix and match. Like being able to run 2 perks from different trees in the old setup together. We didn't get that. I'm now pretty concerned for Arc 3.0 and all the things we're about to lose for no real reason. Warlocks got railed too, losing benevolent dawn and having 2 aspects purely based on movement with no solar verb synergy. How did this go so wrong? Why did Bungie seem so hyped for this in the dev video? Were they using a different version to what we got? They must have a separate build to us, it's the only explanation, there's no way they could have thought this was any good.

Interesting how big a buff they can give and people still don’t even try to make a build

3 RepliesCalm down and explain what is bad / good. Posts like this are too common here.

Idk man roaring flamed sunspots is pretty funny

I went back to Void Titan.
-
I was hoping for something new. But this game is ran by the PVP community so god forbid we get something awesome and fun.

2 RepliesWhat were you expecting ? To be broken OP in pvp ? Won’t fix ya 0.51kda sorry to say
-
1 ReplySorry for you not liking the season so far. I have a blast as a hunter tho. Lock and Thinman in progress
-
4 RepliesNo weakness via shoulder charge. No damage buff via sunspots. The class was better before 3.0 I'm already back on sentinel.
-
5 Replieswaaa waaa cant cheese the game anymore now i gotta play on the same level with the otehrs, no more hiding behind barrier with infinite health and OP helemet and op sunspot while having EXTRA SHIELDS in pvp and one shot with trash weapons waaaa waaaa CRAYON EATERS
-
2 RepliesI found a very fun build on solar titan
-
5 RepliesWhat is with Bungie giving so much more fragment access to Hunters than Titans? If you want to use the ONE new titan move you are locked to no more than 3 fragments. They truly put in more effort on nerfing sunspots than adding anything new or playable for solar titan. Void titan was much more fun out the gate. What a let down.

No kidding lol it sucks. I'd rather have the nodes back than this krap 😆
-
9 RepliesAbsolutely incorrect. I think this is just proof that titans are stupid. I say that as a Titan lmao.
-
Where is this idea that the titans solar 3.0 sucks? If anything I've been having so much fun with this upgrade and having a new attack that destroys enemies with easy is a plus for me.
-
2 RepliesAre you building into it. the supers have always kinda bad. Try running hallow fireheart and just don't super
-
3 Repliessunspot not giving infinite heal like Lorey anymore so it really limited . back then I could camping the day just spamming lory+ barricade to heal my self infinite now I don't with it make lorey not useful anymore cause regen hp is a normal common in our ability now

Edited by Talia Sendua: 5/25/2022 11:38:37 AM
I've been a Titan since D1 but there's a reason all you see in Crucible is Hunters and Warlocks - because Titans SUCK now
What are you talking about? I can 2-hit kill opponents with my hammer slam in several numbers, not just 1 but as many people as they stand into the fields. We can basically kill with the slide melee slam alone 6 players if given the change. I play Titan Solar right now in PvP and it works fine. You are just having problems with it probably because you have trouble adapting your playstyle after 4 years of the same subclass playstyle.
