If scouts get any buff in pvp it will be a scout rifle meta. The thing with handcannons is that they do the best at peek shooting so unless they get nerfed to the ground (which won't happen) they'll always be dominant. The solution isnt to bring one weapon up and drop one down, the solution is to have more maps with various ranges and not just close - mid range. Maps like eternity see more scout rifle usage compared to a map like exodus blue which sees very little scouts.
