SIVA and the Witness
One simple question. Could SIVA have the potential to rival or surpass the power of the Witness and its Black Fleet?

Since the one thing SIVA is great at is building or perfecting anything you tell it to (better than the Black Armory ever could) 1) If we were to let SIVA run rampant on a pyramid ship i wonder what would happen 2) I wonder if we could use SIVA to enhance any Black Fleet weaponry or even Lubrae's Ruin 3) I'm still waiting for bungie to give us a season where the Vex get infested by the SIVA plague and have us deal with it Another thing that would be interesting to test is since Vex weaponry don't work in human hands i wonder if SIVA could enhance them to work for us, would be cool to have a Slap Rifle as an SMG, Torch Cannon as a nade launcher, etc

1 ReplySiva definitely can't not over power the witness. Rasputin tried to take down the pyramids and the witness but he failed. So I highly, highly doubt Siva could beat witness

Rasputin literally hit a single pyramid ship with all he could, and that pyramid ship literally just turned him off.

24 RepliesNo. SIVA is a product of Science. Which means it has to obey the laws of Physics....the Laws of Cause and Effect. Which is why when The Darkness came to the system last year, they brushed asid Rasputin and all his weapons like swatting a housefly. With the Witness you're dealing with someone who is so powerful with paracausality (MAGIC), that he'd not only be unaffected by it.....he's probably be able to turn it against us. The only thing that will be effective against him will be other paracausal beings.

Considering that Rasputin is in his current condition because of fighting the pyramid no Suva won’t help nor do I think the witness would use it I mean he’s possibly the strongest being we’re gonna face he doesn’t need nanites to be strong

27 RepliesSIVA has limits. While it was enough to wipe out the Iron Lords, they were far weaker then the Witness. It’s hard to say with certainty. Power alone doesn’t stop anything from harming you, as we saw when we beat SIVA. Power doesn’t equal invulnerability. But there could be a Darkness related power that could affect the nanotechnology. We saw Darkness power affecting Golden Age technology before.

There was also that bit where Rasputin threw everything he had at the Black Fleet, which they just ignored, and shut him off for his trouble. No SIVA isn't the answer.

Even with the limited amount of information on the witness I highly doubt a nanotech virus would be able to overwhelm him. He is far more powerful than anything we've fought to date.
