I click play on steam, and nothing happens but the steam still thinks its running and it is in the background processes but nothing happens.
I verified files, deleted the local cash, restarted my pc and re-installed the game. Nothing works.
Windows 11.

Thanks to <_TrueSight_> !! This was the launch fix:
[Update] Just removed/stopped Rapport Trusteer Endpoint or RapportMgmtService from task manager/services
I uninstalled the APP in Windows 10 and it launched.

2 RepliesI have the same issue also. I have verified local files, re-installed, updated drivers, rolled back video drivers, stopped applications, removed local cache and everything else I have found that seems like it could be related. And yet, for over 45 minutes now, Destiny 2 is still lurking in task manager doing nothing. No loading screen, no error screen. No log files to check that may hold a clue. Yeah, I'd say I'm disappointed with this release so far.

Same issue here. Running Windows 10. Also re-installed the game and it just won't launch. Steam saying the game is running but it hasn't even launched.

Same problem here .... I use Windows 10.

5 RepliesI uninstalled and reinstalled the game even the files. Verifying integrity does help.

Things I've Tried: -Uninstalling/Reinstalling Game via Steam -Verified Game Integrity -Moved Game Installation Folder -Disabled Antivirus -Added exceptions to firewall/antivirus anyway -Uninstalled/reinstalled BattleEye -Uninstalled Afterburner and Riva Tuner Statistics -Uninstalled Asus ROG software -Killed every non-essential task in task-manager before running -Turned off NZXT Cam software which runs my water cooler -Rolled back RTX graphics driver to known working version -Updated RTX graphics driver -Using Revo uninstaller to remove blizzard Destiny2 registry remnants and reinstalled Destiny2 via steam -Removed appID file from steam folder -Tried to load in Window Mode, Full Screen, or other Resolutions by modifying the CVAR file -Confirmed No Overlays from any apps enabled -Tried running D2/BattleEye in 'compatibility mode' and 'as administrator' Nothing worked. Application is in task manager but never actually loads.
