I don't know why you think you are so good at story telling bungie - you are horrible at storytelling and always have been
The story is not a story it is nothing but a waste of our time. They story has never been good and frankly never will be. That is like telling a new partial story every 10 minutes in a movie - no one would watch it. Destiny is exactly the same. Great stories are told first , usually in the form of a well written book. If you can't even tell a little story what makes you think you have a clue how to create one??

2 RepliesThe in game storytelling has always been mediocre at best, non-existent at worse. The only way you get any story is the lore books online, but even that I wouldn’t take super seriously, since they started to retell it, as it’s all considered folklore at best.

17 RepliesThey do it this way because they dont have a team like they used to when working under Activision. They cant make massive stories as big as they used to and because they focus more on gameplay and balancing that just takes up even more of their time and before you tell me "well mayne they should work more on the story" just know, people -blam!-, moan, and complain 24/7 for "nerf this" "nerf that" "change this" "change that" "im bad at the game, me angy bungo fix" and bungie would rather tone down the gameplay crying than anything. On top of that, we have people who literally no life this game worse than a streamer who's JOB is to stream the game and they'd get through the whole story within a day when its normally supposed to last us 3 months. Lastly, if you believe that you can write more or a better story; Bungie is Hiring so get that application in. Understand that nothing about game desiging is easy. If you can't accept that then please do everyone a favor and delete this post, delete your account, and go play something else because your childish and extremely arrogant rant is annoying especially when you claim the story has always been bad yet continue to play it. Like seriously, you're not forced to play it so if you dont like it then that is your own fault.
