FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX GAMBIT OR STOP MAKING US PLAY IT
No other game mode crashes this much, and on top of that, as the community has been telling you FOR OVER A YEAR: The game mode is terrible! It’s so unbelievably trash, and grinding for 2 reputation resets this season has been AWFUL. Fix the game mode or stop making us play it, it’s TERRIBLE

5 RepliesEvery time someone posts "stop making us do X to get Y," people post the knee jerk reaction of "No one is forcing you" or "if you don't like it don't play it." Like, obviously Bungie isn't sending the Drifter to people's homes and having him tape their hands to their controllers. And obviously that's not the point of any of these posts. It's such a useless response, and completely ignores the OP's point. Just an easy dunk for people.

6 RepliesI love the “you don’t have to play it”. We bought this game, Gambit is in it, and it is BAD! Even when it isn’t bugged, it’s bad. Being able to invade when your primeaval is up and the other team has 15 motes, melting the boss is 10 seconds, these are bad game designs, and make gambit simply unfair, unless it’s a private match of equal players maybe.

3 RepliesGambit definitely is not trash. It is a genious idea of a game mode that players can choose to participate in. I remember when all we had was strikes or crucible. Gambit was needed and should be welcomed by everyone. Even if you dont like it you should support it, otherwise they will remove it and we only have 2 options again. Or if players dont support it, then it will be just a dead game mode that they dont update or fix. It could definitely use some love from the developers right now, but calling it trash is just ridiculous.

4 RepliesI mean they did state in the twab they were reworking it lol.. but either way.. gambits an easy fix 1)they need to reduce invade frequency after you summon a prime evil.. 2) with invading they need to make it cost something.. I think to pay motes to go across is fair cause then there is a risk as well as reward.. right now it's just reward 3) invasion needs a rework.. a) take away the Ora around the invader or mayjorly reduce it (shouldn't be a beakon showing your location) b) the wall hacks should be active for the first 10 seconds to locate people.. then additionally 3-5 seconds after a kill c) the invade timer needs to go!!! Too often people just run and hide for a few seconds and with the size of the map unless you're using a scout.. sniper or tracking rockets good luck! Force players to take out the invader or suffer the loss of 4 kills! d) I think the bank should lock like it did in gambit prime when an invader is active! But that one would be harder to balance if they took off the invade timer

Gambit itself is quite refreshing. Pvp is complete cancer and pve is out of juice currently. They could vault trials before gambit imo

Remove gambit, it served its purpose and its clear its impossible to balance out pve and pvp when mixed together. Gambit should be vaulted so we can get actual new pvp maps.

Yes, please fix the crashing. I don’t feel “forced” to play it, I just enjoy playing it. It’s unplayable right now with the random crashes.🤬

3 RepliesI cant really think of any quest that forces you to play gambit, unless you are referring to the play 3 games for a weekly drop my biggest problem, is if theres ppl like me that likes to use the Randys Throwing Knife scount, Bungie had a wonerful solution, which is to say, -blam!- you go play gambit
