Yea just want to point out i am not resetting gambit rank twice for a legendary rocket ornament.
There are millions other better things you can do in your free time instead of that so no thanks lol.

The system for ritual weapons was fine last season. The GUNsmith gives us the quest for the GUN, then the activity associated ornaments were acquired by using said weapon…. in said activity. This new path makes the grind for the ornament absurdly long.

Especially when up to last season you got the ornament for 200 kills with that weapon in gambit. Which takes like 1 / 1.000.000.000 of the time to do.

In fact Gambit can be very funny. Having said that the rank progression rate for both Zavala and Drifter is abysmal. Particularly if you consider it's very repetitive and not at all diversified.

Gambit sucks at a whole other level. To top that, they make us do almost two full resets. I haven't even gotten the Rocket Launcher. I've tried during the extra infamy weeks, I just get bored with it too quickly. Gambit needs even more work than Crucible, and that is saying a lot. I would just make the Witch Queen take a poop on the Drifter and close Gambit forever...

If you don't like gambit, then your best choices are to not play it, or grind it out in weeks with increased infamy. I didn't find it to be that bad, but as a Reckoner, it might be fair to question my sanity and/or pain tolerance. For me, I wanted to get the gilding triumphs for Dredgen, so most or all of the 2 resets got done while working on those triumphs. Now, I'll occasionally go in to work on bounties while taking care of the weekly milestones. For me, I stopped caring about winning or losing in gambit. With the exception of the 50 wins triumph for gilding, winning really doesn't matter much. If you get matched against a coordinated 4-stack that actually knows gambit strategy, you are likely going to get steamrolled. Gambit is prone to snowballing if one team is coordinated and the other is not. Even if you know gambit strategy, there is no guarantee your teammates know gambit strategy, so I just go in to casually mow through some ads while occasionally trying to evade/kill an invader. For me, gambit is fine if you play it casually while multitasking some milestones/bounties - I just don't let the imbalanced aspects of gambit get to me.

On top of the game crashing every 3rd of 4th -blam!- match, during the primeval phase, since the 30th Anniversary content was released. They can disable Mech Tricksleeves an hour after they catch a bug that lets us have more fun, but -blam!-. us if we would like to play Gambit without worrying about it crashing OUR WHOLE SYSTEM! This is the type of sh.ti that makes me question where their priorities lie. Over a month into the 30th content and they haven't even acknowledged the game crash issue. Gambit needs to be gone, they clearly don't care about it, and it just takes their focus away from PVE and PVP, which will always be more important...
