Eager Edge Sabotage
This perk allows the proliferation of dipshits killing you / sabotage. Fun for them, -blam!- for everyone else in the fireteam who are trying to complete bounties or do flawless runs. This needs to be addressed so they can't interact against their own fireteam.

They should just remove Eager Edge from the game just permanently.

If you do it to your friends and they are in on the joke, that's one thing. The minute you turn that kind of attitude towards some random person however, you're behaving like a sociopath. Trying to gaslight people with arguments like "It's just a game, it's fun, you're just a baby." is some next level garbage. I get it, trollolol, teeheehee funny sword go brrrrrrrrr, but in all seriousness, GET HELP. You know warning signs like when kids hurt animals? Yeah, this is basically the digital form of that. May seem like a joke, but it's not.

Do the same thing back. I chase them all over the map once the DOE starts, interrupting their game play and getting them killed constantly killing their fun. They end up backing out. If it is a nightfall or strike just stop contributing. Let them do all the work themselves.

I mean hopefully no one is doing it in endgame content, but any other content is fine. It's fun and funny. There are only a small % of people like op -blam!- care. People are playing to have fun and if I get launched into a wall or off the map by a random I'll take it to the chin and laugh about it, unless it's in a gm or master raid where I'm trying to get it done and get out.

I am all for intentionally killing people in pve to be viewed as sabotage and griefing and be subject to the full force the TOS has to offer, it can also be constituted as disruption.

1 ReplyIf there was an activity where doing something flawlessly, like a matchmade activity, there are going to be people who are going to try and "ruin it" for you. It's not like they know that you are trying to Flawless any of the easiest content in the game. If it was higher tier content were not dying is essential, Like in endgame content and someone does it to you on say a petra's run or a flawless enlightened run just as your going to kill the final boss? Yeah, I get that. But it sounds like your trying to flawless a basic strike in the strike playlist. want to avoid this? Play distance, if you know someone has the sword and you trying to "flawless" content then make sure you are never near them and focus on staying alive. Or do solo flawless content. Is it rude, yeah, but honestly it makes you look just as bad for trying to demonize people just because they bonk you on the head and ruin your X flawless run of that one patrol. Is it annoying yes, is Bungie going to fix it? most likely not, are you going to have to pull up the big boy pants and stop acting like people bonking you with this weapon is something that's going to give you actual in-life trauma if you don't flawless that one thing? Is doing something flawless REALLY so important in low-level content. Like really. It's not like it's a -blam!- GM or master raid where stupid -blam!- like that actually hurts the run. I'm really trying to speak from a neutral point here but you got to realize that if you play with the blueberries there's always going to be that one guy who will -blam!- on your biscuit. So if it happens it happens, move on and get it done next time.
