The famous Kellygreen I low key agree with you it’s annoying getting matched up with bad players consistently but I’m not the best gambit player myself so I don’t usually complain about that. Iron banner though does piss me off. It’s kinda hilarious how so many people in these forums know you though you should be a character in the destiny universe who just argues with everyone.

There's nothing in gambit worth getting. But if you go into the mode you should at least play it to win. Why waste your own time and others ...it's stupid

IMO Gambit isnt really a pvp mode, and it struggles because [b]NO ONE CARES ABOUT WINNING GAMBIT[/b]. The mode itself was great fun at launch, but marred by OP weapons, weird maps, and zero qol updates that made it better.. They tried to make a comp Gambit and it was such a grind and so overly harsh on player 'fun' that nearly everyone unanimously said 'we dont like this.' Too bad too, because I used to really enjoy it.

I play to get my gambit bounties and some other bounties done. I don't always care about the 'goal' of the game. If I need to bank 15 motes for that bounty, then I'm going to run around with motes on me till I get 15. If I die with 14 on me, oh well. If I don't have that bounty, I'm banking whatever I have. I've banked 1 mote at times. If I need sidearm kills, I'll be using a sidearm however under powered and inappropriate it is. I would assume many others do the same thing. Conflicting goals caused by bounty hunting probably account for much of the problem. If bounties were removed from gambit, then all players could and would focus on is winning the match and playing towards that goal. But then I wouldn't play it.

Checked your history and I can definitely say that it wasn’t your teammates fault you lost. Just take the L Mr.Green and move on.

The most recent defeat on your Warlock has you banking half as many notes and having a third as many kills as the top player. That doesn't sound like it's everyone else and not you

i go into gambit with no mindset at all just like it is what it is no expectations whatsoever there are way to many blueberries in that game mode to even try to even try to be competitive so the only thing i think about is my rng at the end of the match.

Kellygreen45, Your game history indicates you played 10 gambit matches and won 6 of them. That's not too bad! It also indicates (let me put this diplomatically) you were not the #1 player for banked motes, not #1 for invades, tied for #1 enemies downed in one match, and bottom half of the team in all other stats for all your games. Not trying to call you out to be mean, just want to provide context. There were players on your team who won and lost games who banked more motes, cleared more bad guys, and downed more guardians than you and they're not here complaining about having you as a team mate. Gambit can be crazy fun and sometimes crazy frustrating, often in the same match. Last match I played today was close, I banked 66 motes, more than my other three team mates combined and we lost, but I still had fun. I recently started using Deafening Whisper (GL from Season of the Hunt) for ad clear and it's so good! One player might not be able to win it all every time, but one experienced, knowledgeable player with a good attitude and team ethic can have a huge impact on every single game. If you have never experienced Gambit with a team, I highly recommend it. It's a totally different experience when you go in with a dedicated invader and a plan for big DPS boss-melting damage. If you (or anyone reading this!) is looking for team mates, stop by my Twitch stream (same as my gamertag, ARTFUL 5) Wednesday-Sunday nights after 6pm eastern, I am always down for Gambit when we're not running Raids. I've done "Protect the Runner" 19 times, and helped people with Seasonal Challenges, triumphs, and gilding Dredgen titles. So much better with team mates, you can get so much done! I know reaching out and initiating contact through LFG, a twitch stream, a forum, etc. can seem like so much effort (and why should I HAVE to? C'mon Bungie just let me do this solo, it should be possible! Right?) but it's worth it. You posted on a forum so you are invested enough to reach out one way, now try one more way.

You mean they are upset they aren’t given VIP matchmaking status and put in a special quality control pool with only experienced players? You lost 7 games because the enemy team was better. So you did bad in some matches, blamed your teammates, and somehow that translates to bungie being bad at making pvp modes? When you're playing a pvevp mode? Which has never been advertised as an actual pvp mode? I'm very confused as to how you've come to this conclusion, and it seems like you are too.
