Have you completely forgot about the variety of shitshows that have been the Middle East? The bombings and generally completely pointless losses of life on all fronts? Vietnam was also a completely pointless endeavor. Hell, most conflicts post WWII have basically been the lives of our troops being put at risk for no good reason. It’s less a dig at vets and more that lives are put at risk for nothing that the common man has any actual stake in. Peeps in the military die for nothing far more often than they die for an actual cause lmao.

Best case scenario, you don’t really do anything. Worst case scenario, your life is being put at risk for completely useless causes. You can’t keep bringing up the world wars forever lmao. Hell, even the world wars were still people being pitted against each other because of those who are in power.
