Resetting a card should be disabled unless you lost flawless.
Almost all your streamers that do carries are resetting at 6 wins(isn't that a form of matchmake evasion).
This is going to also give false data

Step 3: Throw that game Step 4: Reset card or keep the card with a loss on it since it will keep YOU form going flawless Step 5: Join back on your fire team and carry them to 7 wins. Step 6: Repeat steps 1-5 Edit: Down vote as much as you want, but you know this is true.

lol so the carry streamers would just grab a wealth card, throw game 1. Have their carry reset and just continuously play on their flawed wealth card. Because cards never break remember? Oh no your “fix” would mean carry streamers would have to lose one extra game a weekend lol

Yeah, make it can't be reset until the card becomes flawed and they would have to compete with others who also have the same cards plus can only be played against those with 6 wins even after resetting the cards.

1 Replyhere's a work around to your "fix" once you are at 6 wins, the 2 players doing the carry, just launch a trial match by themselves, and they lose the match on purpose, while the carry keeps his 6wins 0 loses. tadaaa

1 ReplyReally, I think Bungie needs a desirable Trials reward that is only available from a flawless on your first passage. Then these people have a choice to make. Forever give up on trying obtain that reward, or farm less skilled players.

All they would have to do is go in solo and throw the game get the loss than can carry all night long without needing to reset. Maybe they can count streaks but even than you can throw some games to running the streak.

This would influence forfeiting matches via cliff jumping again, instead of completing bounties, it'll be to reset cards, which will lead us to square one again in players not playing the game as intended. But i will agree that an upcoming Flawless game should have the card locked, since resetting at 6 wins is also not playing the game as intended. So after the 6th win the card should not be able to be reset, which i think everyone could agree with there. Legit Trials players like myself will obviously want to go Flawless, so there will be no reason for us to reset a card at the Flawless game. New players likewise wouldnt care much for resetting at that point either... Only players that would have an issue not being able to reset at 6 wins, are the players you all speak of currently.

Not trying to validate or invalidate your point, but I don't think they are resetting at 6, as that would drastically reduce their own rewards. Instead, they are intentionally losing 1 match, to bust their flawless chance, and then farming wins on a 7 win busted flawless card.

1 ReplyThe problem with that is someone who is doing carries can get to the 6 wins, leave that team, go in solo a throw or leave a match to get a loss and then they can reset their card and join back on to their carry group.

Agree right after second loss should ask you do you want to reset the card, if yes reset, otherwise keep going with flawed card and remain in the same bracket where they stopped you

Resetting shouldn't be disabled flawless matchmaking should last week went well for trials and I'm not just saying that cause I had a good time the most people ever went flawless for the first time and now they made the flawless matchmaking pool they are only resetting to avoid that pool if you get rid of it things will stabilize as they will have no reason to reset again when they are not punished for going flawless and think of this you lose first game of a card well crap then you have to lose again just to restart to get your mercy back as most people reset if they take a loss first game.

You have a point. Bungie is probably trying to find a balance between helping streamers who carry and the crowd farming engrams.
