Another Week, Another sub-par seasonal activity.
Talk to servitor -> examine memorial.
Really good ending bungie, you really put a LOT of work into this season.
Repetitive activity, The seasonal ending activity was a copypasta of the same garbage event we have done all season, you didn't even attempt to put a new boss at the end.
Heres an exotic ship, please keep buying our game.
TL:DR
Not good enough bungie, this is the most lazy and pathetic end to a season so far, put some damn effort into the game.

1 ReplyJust because you bought this game doesn't mean you get to be a jerk to the staff. Name one thing this will accomplish? Calling it pathetic? What part is pathetic? What part is recycled? Have you considered that they aren't active on certain parts of the day? There's so much wrong with half of the posts here that it's not funny. It's all just anger and passive-aggression. Yeah, there's recycled content. But if it was your budget on the line, would you waste it making something new and have it hated? Or save money and use previously used assets and have it hated? No money? No game. Millions of dollars can leave you quick if you're not careful.

I enjoyed it. Along with Override missions we also got Expunge. There was a lot to do this season with a really good story. Nice little wrap up, and good pacing without demanding too much out of us. I don’t know what people were expecting. Expectations have rocketed through the roof with the amount of content developers are demanded to put into seasonal content. We also got a nice raid. Granted it was vaulted content but still fun and engaging, brought up to the Destiny 2 pace, with new mechanics. I not only hit cap, played everything I wanted to, finished my season pass but also got to thoroughly enjoy other games. Great season in my opinion.

Seriously stop complaining. More of a generalization statement than directed at the op. This game has been the same effin thing since launch of d1. Do this activity A WHOLE BUNCH. Kill this enemy race A WHOLE BUNCH. Get some loot. Move on. IMO. This seasonal story is the first time Bungie went start to finish on a storyline in a coherent linear timeline spanning one season. Play this game cause the skyboxes are phenomenal. Some engagement are challenging. Some loot is worth obtaining. If you don’t like the story or grinding, then don’t. You won’t miss out on much. Mynameisbyf will make videos explaining the story of next season so you won’t miss out. Most seasonal exotics are trash too. So don’t buy the season pass if you don’t want to. It’s $10 USD. Really. That’s become a gripe over $10? Why come on here and keep complaining about this or that which is trivial. Instead, let’s work together and get more things nerfed into oblivion. Yeah. Looking at you ghallahorn.

This season was phenomenal in terms of storytelling and lore. It had MASSIVE implications for the next season and Witch Queen. From a pure gameplay perspective, there was more than enough content for a $10 season. You either have set your expectations too high for seasonal content, or you just like to complain.

You do realize that this is all part of an activity called "Epilogue" right. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/epilogue IOW, the only "function" of this is a storytelling one. To bring to a conclusion the seasonal story. Summarize what happened (for those who don't read the lore), and to set the stage for where things go next week. I think some of us are victims of their own expectations. This was not a dungeon or some exotic quest that Bungie has been working on for the last 6 moths. You were "expecting" something that Bungie never promised. The title of the activity was very much in line with what Bungie ended up giving us. This is Bungie's story. Let them tell it.

6 RepliesIts 10$ man. For 3 months. You spend more than 10$ every time you go watch a shitty movie. And you never go back. Don't forget the popcorn you stuff your face with for another 15$. The per hour entertainment cost is minuscule compared to that.

The epilogue was an entire extra activity in the playlist!!! And it was only ever mentioned TWICE, once on the road map, and once 7 days before it dropped. ANYONE who got their hopes up high for it are being irrational and entitled beyond belief. We got 4 new versions of a new playlist activity, a slew of all new and reprised weapons that people love, some of the most voice acting and story driven content we have ever gotten in the entire history of destiny 2 AND destiny 1, a reprised version of a beloved raid with updated weapons INCLUDING adept versions of those weapons from a hardmode version of that same raid, a feature that people have been begging for ever since it was removed during Forsaken. And you are complaining about an unadvertised, unimportant, quaint little ending to a season? Only 7 -blam!-ing days before we get a full Vidoc reveal and new season, while none of what this season offered is even close to going away yet?! How the actual -blam!- do you manage to mentally justify this level of -blam!-ing, whining, and moaning?

4 RepliesIt's a 10 dollar season that was well worth the price. This weeks memorial isnt the conclusion it was more of a "thank you for playing" kinda thing. See you next week when you buy yet another season pass.
