Please STOP pulling me out of my inventory, F1 etc.. screen. I KNOW the map is about to start, this extremely annoying when I'm pulled out for a change in space travel. Let me stay in my equipment set up screen as long as I want.

10 RepliesEdited by GalaxySpider: 8/16/2021 4:05:31 AMThey can't change it because this how their game works. Before your character enters an actual instance/server, the game naturaly loads your complete inventory and sync it with the severs as soon as you spawn in because this is how videogames work, lol. Otherwise you would be just an invisible mess of nothing. They explained that many times before, even back then during D1 when there was a glitch with the heavy ammo synthesis etc. You can't simply change that without basically changing the whole engine and architecture of the game. Many games also simply hide that fact with a fixed loading screen, like Dauntless does it, forcing you to watch a still image and can't do nothing. So you should be thankful that you actually CAN watch your character screen and even interact with it at nearly any point, while the game loads into activities. It's still pretty unique and still was back then. This is again not a "bug" nor is it a matter for a "QoL improvement" lol.

Bump gor interest. At least implement a toggle feature for it

This has been really bugging recently. I thought they had fixed it and I would almost swear one of the recent patches(in the last 6 months) they some how reverted back. It is so annoying now, there seems to be 4 spots in kicks you out.
-
its better than most other games, not letting menu open during transit.
-
Then you will boot to orbit and receive error code.

10 RepliesI agree 1000% I hate it It happens to me all the time. When I do the slow fast travel, taking that time to dump all the useless rare garbage. There is NO disadvantage to dying in D2 so why pull us out of our inventories when entering a new DZ or event. I'M ONLY GOING TO SAY THIS 1,000,000,000 MORE TIMES STOP PULLING ME OUT OF MY INVENTORY Not going to happen. That would speed up your grind. Bunghole has DELAYS in nearly EVERY aspect of this grind to keep you in longer. Fun is not bunghole's goal. It's not even on the list of goals. Never has been, never will be. eververse is bunghole MAIN priority. So go buy an ornament for a weapon they will later sunset.

Deal with it. That's the way the game has ever worked, if it was something that could be changed it would've already been.
-
3 RepliesYou would pull your hair out in destiny 1 lol
-
Big bump!! Could not agree more. I hate when the game kicks me out of my menu when landing on a map
-
This is seriously annoying.
-
Yes, this bothers me a lot lol.
-
Yeah that is piss annoying
-
This is actually the good version. It used to be slightly worse. Once they made the slightest of changes, Bungie never looked back. Just like everything else.

1 ReplyYeah it makes my shit itch

3 RepliesThis has been explained in Reddit before and someone posted a link about it below. This is done to prevent us from losing gear when changing items in our menu when loading into activities.

Edited by Dubufu: 8/16/2021 3:14:29 AMI don't mind it. The menu is simple and intuitive, so if you are getting pulled out of your inventory, you probably should have prepared better beforehand. I mean sure, I won't make excuses for bungie and it's a great QOL change but right now Bungie has bigger issues. By all means the engine is still outdated and I have no idea what the Beyond Light engine improvements were if the game still cannot handle the simplest of changes and something goes wrong every update.

1 ReplyThis has been at the top of the QoL changes they need to make since y1 I think
-
15 RepliesSure, if you're okay with potentially losing things tied to your account.

Especially in pvp.

It's annoying but we all know it happens so before flying in delete/ do whatever before hand 🤷♂️
-
9 RepliesMinor issue. Change before queueing or change faster.
-
4 RepliesThis happens to me more than it should. That being said - its my fault. It's your fault too. We know what activity we are about to do. We should be ready prior to loading in versus setting up as we fly in. ✌

Man life’s terrible.
