5 RepliesI can't wait for this change to happen! I have posted in the past, that if the game becomes horrible (and you'll know it in 60 seconds or less) just leave! Due to sliding shotgunners and HC users (also HCs at ridiculous ranges) at breakneck speeds, invisibility etc, I have left 7 out of 11 games to preserve MY SENSE OF BALANCE. Looks like Bungie is trying to slow things down in the Crucible before implementing more maps....So why haven't they nerfed the crap out of mobility as well? Probably because movement Exotics like Stomp-EEs, Dunemarchers and Transversive Steps will get negatively affected? Or is it because of Cross-Play arriving soon thus a "balance" between M&K and Console users are being tested? Whatever the case, Stasis as a "freeze" ability to slow things down backfired making the HC & Shotgun Metas even MORE powerful! The evidence suggests a desperate attempt to make PvP playable after years of general neglect and hopeless decision making. Just my opinion, I'm still out there floating around waiting to participate in a match I FEEL IS WORTH MY EFFORT. See you in the Crucible!

5 Replies[quote]Super funny, pretty good laugh about top tree dawn too.[/quote] Them doing all this to shotties is gonna lead to one thing... skill less fusion rifles everywhere.. why would I use a shotty if I have to play a high risk playstyle.. when I coan just put on a bastion and get 1 hit kills from triple the range..and shut down supers.. and bust titan walls with ease. Slowing the game down doesnt make it more enjoyable.. look at d2 year 1 as an example

Being a 1 month player I didn’t even know that was what they were doing all this while. I saw the quick slide and 1 hit kill but isn’t take the time and fully understand what happened. I figured out the hand cannon usage after getting trashed so many times by it. Guess it’s gonna be good for me. Noticed also when I put my Titan barricade they walk through it and want to do a shotty slide but get their anuses toasted and set up for a quick kill.

Just going to pop on a full discipline build and spam heat rises so I get six icarus dashes.

I don't think its going to matter much for the large number of players who are scoped in for more than 2 seconds at a time and/or fail to move around much.

It still ends up as a skill gap nerf for those who take full advantage of sliding to disengage or engage. It’s pitiful how many limits bungie puts on the sandbox to restrict good players.

The shotguns are also only getting their spread nerfed, in case you didn’t know, slugs don’t have spread so this will only enforce the use of chaperone or any other slug over the already nerfed felwinter.

The only downside, is this basically acts as a soft nerf for middle tree nightstalker since the little synergy this subclass has revolves around precision kills while crouching and slides count as crouching.

14 RepliesIt is not their fault it’s Bungie’s horrible sandbox team/management that created this mess. They are all responsible for how bad this mode is. You cannot blame people using easy tactics to get kills. Again all of the complaints about crucible lies squarely on the shoulders of Bungie.
