Forum dwellers, for God's sake....
Yes, Bungie updated the game. Things are tweaked and things will break. The game isn't going anywhere and I know damn well you aren't either because you're waiting to get your next fix.

Real talk, there's no nicer way to say it.
Many [i][b]MANY[/b][/i] folks need to catch themselves when they say things like
[i]Bungie messes up all the time
Every time a new season comes, something breaks
Bungie you don't listen to us
Bungie you don't respect me and my time[/i]
Here's a good set of questions:
When are [u][i][b]you[/b][/i][/u] going to start respecting yourself and your time?
When are [i][b][u]you[/u][/b][/i] going to understand that this is how it's been since D1?
The definition of insanity is expecting a different result from doing the same thing.
Many of you state how the consumer is a vital part of this game and yet [u][i][b]you guys don't value yourselves[/b][/i][/u]. You don't understand that [b]you[/b] are a main component to this game and you facilitate bad business practices by participating and telling others "it will be fine later on".
If you don't respect yourself, who are you expecting to respect you?
Use that lump 4 ft above your hindquarters and think.
For those whom are disgruntled:
Is this game worth complaining over time and time again?

What can I do to make this game better?
Get an application, give [b][i][u]constructive[/u][/i][/b] feedback, push more intellectual conversations, clean up these forums.
You have a choice. What most choose to do is act like children. Do better. Be better.

Nah this games been clearly dead for centuries, D1 was clearly better, and streamers stole my kids. This is the way of the forums.

There used to be a time when studios with that kind of commitment to quality were embarrassed by that. How about complete removal of content? Game file size can be an intimidating thing, but keeping things running smoothly is their JOB, not our BURDEN. How about repackaging old weapons as ‘new’. Sunsetting is a simple flagging of an item, but instead let’s release these weapons with terrible perks (no reload perk for a 120? Are they stupid?) that no sane player would ever use outside of typical JFA (just -blam!-ing around, if didn’t know). How about extreme micromanagement of the sandbox in the name of ‘balance’ when all it is is meta shifting to keep PvP ‘fresh’. Speaking of PvP (and Gambit) how is it we LOSE maps in the last two years with no gain? And said maps we have are on Io, Titan, Mercury AND Mars? They can’t even commit to their own -blam!-ing canon! Canon, right… Quria was a solo boss. Big mistake. Quria should have been an event boss ala Undying Mind. What self disrespecting company would -blam!- their own hype? How about NEVER changing seasonal [holiday] events? How about ridiculous grind to get one weapon with a passable set of random perks to randomly drop randomly? Not even WoW had that much rng! How about a model that asks you to pay $40 every year for less and less content ON TOP of $10 every 3-4 months for slightly more? How about our career stats going away? And then there’s the ‘we’ve been hiring more people’ bullshit. Where are they? What are they working on? Stop using the -blam!- ‘it’s a surprise’ excuse and -blam!-ING COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR PLAYERBASE! What about using raw data over feedback to nerf things in PvE? What about the same ‘boss stomp bullet sponge’ mechanics since D1 BETA? And I maybe touched half of the problems. My constructive feedback is Destiny is a dumpster fire right now. Go to a publisher with actual resources and ask. For. Help. If they don’t, there won’t be a Bungie left to release ‘Matter’.

So you want the customer to blame themselves instead of the producer? Show me one game that has a list of bugs as ling as this one on the Help page of this fourm, there are so many bugs that they cant even list them all and make links to subsections with more bugs. Theres messing up and willful ignorance, ignoring the bugs in the game and making up lies for sympathy are pathetic. I want you to take a guess why bungie havent made a video on how the pandemic has actually affected work. Ill tell you why, because it hasn’t they are programmers their work involves computers being at a office doesn’t change that at all, its why alot of physical companies that had employees work mainly at a building are swapping online. I have family that are programmers their companies are moving to permanent at home work as it saves time, money and increases productivity as time is saved driving from work. Bungie just makes excuses saying “the pandemic has made work tough” and stupid stuff like that but keep in mind these are the same guys who took a Christmas break for 2 months to spend time with family (but wait they work at home so why the extra long break) they are just trying to relate to you nothing more. And those Charity campaigns ill give you some advice https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p526.pdf should read that, the charity campaigns are for a tax writeoff you are paying for (you give them the money so they give the money for a tax writeoff many companies do this) just give the money to the charity yourself and take the tax writeoff for yourself as giving the money to Bungie doesn’t actually count Its all BS you dont wanna look past

Also, after reading through your post I don't get the mentality of you or anyone thinking they speak for anyone. 13 RepliesVeteran players should be used to this by now and they should know not to play the day of content drops. BUT Bungie is a large company with many employees and just because things like this happen every time they launch new content does not mean they should just get a pass for it.

Because, and stick with me here, most of us have realised that Bungie do what they want, when they want. As for lecturing others .. take a good look at yourself pal. You sound like the typical "performance experts" we get in at my company who spout that waffle about "coping skills" and "self management" when, in reality, they couldn't hit the floor if they threw themselves at it. The fact that you took yourself seriously enough to think anyone cares one jot about your self professed sage advice suggests that you need to dial back that ego and stop lecturing others. Real talk, there's no nicer way to say it .. Take that post and market it to insomniacs who don't respond to drugs. You'll make millions.

You troll for replies and are very good at it but you are counterproductive if you want to clean up the forums. Your message is for people to give constructive feedback and not to be only negative except you are negative inside of your own message. Negativity only breeds more negativity. When you take a holier than though approach you lose your original message. You seem intelligent just not intellectual or prepared for a group to hear your voice.
