We have so many themes with the gear in Destiny, Fallen, Cabal, Samurai, Cowboy we need an Indian themed set.
Something with lots of raw hide, antlers, feathers, beads, war paint maybe even a tomahawk exotic kinetic weapon!
Titans could be Buffalo themed, Warlocks Eagle themed and Hunters could be Wolves maybe, or Rattlesnakes?
What do you guys think?

1 Replyinb4 someone gets triggered, even though the tribe in my area literally calls itself the Salt River Indian Community and has it posted on signs.

4 RepliesAs a Canadian native or First Nations I always laugh, when people stammer and sputter on how to be politically correct...as an FBI ( fukken big Indian ) 6’6 265lbs..I’d love to see old School headdresses, stone knives or short axes. Or tomahawks our cousins in the south used..plenty of apple Indians out there red on the outside and white on the inside. (Native joke)

I dont like the WW1 gear, it looks too different than from the universe of destiny. I would love to see some bushcraft kind of indian gear, but it would be cool if it could still keep the scifi visuals of destiny

1 ReplyThey should do Mid Evil themed armor like Knights and Wizards and Archers and Vikings
licks finger
Can I have a Kevin Costner in Dances with Wolves helm ornament?

Edited by DookyBoots: 4/30/2021 11:18:03 PMIndians are from India lol, woke brigade unite!

D1 had an indian themed armor set. It was my favorite, my warlock had all these feathers attached, it looked awesome. I would love an exotic indian theme bow too, maybe every kill with the bow grants invisibility, Crouching completely removes players from radar. To balance it out, it would have to be the faster fire rate bow archetype so its always going to take 2 headshots for kills. The other perks could be archers tempo and rampage with a built in snapshot just so it feels snappy.

1 ReplyEdited by BobbyWeirdBob: 4/30/2021 6:37:41 PMi like it but be careful i think bungie would need to have an expert on native american culture preferably a native american come in to help so it wont be offensive

5 RepliesWatch out, you said American Indian. People bout to get mad triggered. I recommend you edit it to Native American before the woke society comes after you.

1 ReplyDidn't we have something like that in destiny 1?

I'm cool with my celestial nighthawk thanks.

3 RepliesOr let's just back to normal sci-fi armor

2 RepliesWell i mean those sets do have armor on them at minimum I dunno how Indian themed gear would be protective. Obviously this is a game but its been like a theme they have followed. As well which sets are the Samurai ones? Do you mean IB gear or another set

11 Replies“American Indian” What is it with people in saying this? It makes no sense. They are Native Americans. The only reason they were called Indians, was because some of the settlers thought they had accidentally gone to India.
nibbles crayon
7 RepliesIn theory it sounds innocent enough, but it would probably end up a hornets nest. I have a friend who is First Nations, he did not like some of the D1 armor. I had my Titan helmet from Iron Banner that had the blade on top. Someone remarked that it was a hatchet. He did not like that reference as it seemed derogatory towards his descendants. Something that seemed so harmless to this other guy and me, was not to my friend. So imagine if Bungo makes entire armor sets with good intentions, but it could end up with a really bad outcome. I just laughed at the thought of Bungo making new armor sets 🤣

Nah, it’s too sensitive of a topic, really.

Edited by Boldly Going Nowhere: 4/30/2021 12:22:32 PMYou mean natives, yeah? Not all the English, Irish, French, Polish, Italian and German immigrants?

Native Americans is the term you might want to use when talking about them. Also, I think it is a smart move to avoid using their garbs as video game outfits outside of colonial America era games considering the whole situation where their image has basically been used for profit for ages (and often in a mocking form). It is a very, very sensitive area.

*Native American

10 RepliesEdited by Snafu Gundam: 4/30/2021 6:29:54 AMNATIVE AMERICAN! NOT INDIAN! And Rather Bungie didn't cuz it's a sensitive topic appropriating apects of the way Native Americans used to dress especially the ceremonial Headdress. Sounds like a potential PR nightmare.

Then we could play cowboys and Indians in pvp

7 RepliesNative Americans, or First Nations. Not ‘Indians’, they aren’t from India

Players: Please give us cool armour? Bungie: How's this dinosaur set?
