Bungie your servers NEED an upgrade
In half a comp game my melee whiffed 2 times and I was shot around a corner 3 times. This is because your servers have like a 12 ms response time and that is unacceptable I'm sorry but there's no excuse for having this dog shit of servers in 2021 especially with how much money you guys make from eververse it needs a change IT NEEDS a change.

It’s been like this for 6 years. It’s never going to change. Dedicated servers are to expensive. Or Bungie will make us pay more for the privileges of using them. Would you pay more? I don’t think so.

But that's where the owner (yes, despite the "employee owned" sleight of hand, there's only one owner) makes a lot of money in staying at the far cheaper Shared servers level/tier. He'll never cave in - especially if Bungie can make a market for 5G/6E in handheld gaming. Once that market space and tech fills out; Destiny will either be done or transferred over.

What makes anyone think after all the BS that has been going on for 6 years now knowing this game will be put aside in a couple of years just like D1 so they can play with their new IP, that they will put money let alone the effort to improve their oh so special P2P??? 🤦♂️ 6 years this BS has been going on. Now before somone thinks they are funny? I've been lucky to not have as many issues as some have, but when a game kicks you from the game to your home screen on your counsel, that is some -blam!-ing crapy service. There isn't a single game other than Destiny that has done that I've played in my lifetime.

There is a whole bunch of testing going on There is a whole bunch of new content being made behind the scenes When you are dumped on Nat 3 for no apparent reason might guve you a clue Yes its not perfect yes its a pain in the backside I've enjoyed gettung the boot right befir the GM boss fun times so don't think I'm not experiencing it too We cannot have a perfectly working game with this amount of content being made in the background Yes its no excuse but just imagine having luke smiths train wreck dumped on your desk day 1 of your new job

What servers? That latency is p2p connection. If bungie actually had dedicated servers to host games there'd be far less issues.

Contacting destiny servers have been the norm for me lately but never actually kick me out other than flash for about 5 min and bounce lol

1 ReplyMake sure all you ports for Destiny 2 and what ever system your using are open. Made a massive difference in performance for me. Plus I bought a new router.

5 RepliesIf they refuse to give us dedicated servers then they should add more hybrid servers. I live in Minnesota and the Bungie servers I’m connected to are always in Texas, New Jersey, Seattle, or Brazil. Bad ping.
