We did it we won the sunsetting war

4 RepliesI’m very happy I get to keep my 1310/1360 stuff for a bit longer. But be under no illusion, sunsetting will still happen. Just like it always has. Just under a different guise, that’s all. My guess is it’ll either be some kind of Armour 3.0 or they’ll remove powerful friends and radiant light and increase stats on gear, rendering most armour with stats under 70 useless. Something like that anyway.

I stopped playing Waframe when I move to PC and lost all my progress. But at least I had Destiny, right? WRONG!!!!. We all lost some of our favorite weapons. For me the Kindled, Jack Queen, etc. I felt like I wasted my time grinding. I will no longer give my time to Destiny.

They succeeded in culling all the weapons and armor for 3 years worth and starting up again in beyond light plus 2 seasons I believe. Aka destiny 3 was created in the guise of destiny 2 year 4

Unless something has changed in leadership at Bungie, your time Is not respected unfortunately.

2 RepliesI wouldn’t call it a “Victory”. They did what they set out to do. Removed a lot of PowerCreep weapons. For both PvP and PvE. That’s what SS was all about. The same thing happened in D1. Everyone used Fatebringer/Vision Black Hammer GHorn For everything in YR1 of D1. It was the ultimate Loadout. To the point where it was a requirement half the time. They essentially just hit a reset button. And don’t kid yourself, It will happen Again.

So glad I can now upgrade BLAST FURNACE, BYGONES, CLAWS OF THE WOLF,MOUNTAINTOP, and all year 1 weapons to 1310!!!! UNCAP ALL weapons!!! FULLY Remove sunsetting!!!

It's the new team leadership. But more than that, I have to wonder if Outrider is actually good. I can see them making huge moves like this because of survival. Maybe not, just a thought.

I mean, its not even about being right or wrong, they brought it back not because you were right but because pretty much every single post here was about "cancel sunsetting" "sunset sunsetting" "we hate sunsetting" "bungie hates us #removesunsetting" "sunsetting HAS to go" "like if you hate sunsetting"... so bungie did what every parent does when their 3 year old wont stop moaning and crying because they wouldnt by him an ice cream before dinner, they cave in and buy him the darn ice cream so he will shut up and so that they can go back to their business. So the 3 year was not right (although he did win that battle) but still got his ice cream! And by the way, I didnt think Sunsetting was going to work either
