A TIMER... WHY... just WHY do you Hate us
I HATE Timer in Missions... I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION...
This solves Nothing... only adds layer on layer on layer of Frustration... Sure make the Mission even Harder... its not enough that the healthpool of the 2 Monstrositys are Raidboss ammounts of High... no you just put the Worst Cancer Modifier in, a Soloplayer can have... I DON'T WANT TO USE THE FITTING ELEMENT TO DESTROY A DUMB SHIELD... great... those Scorn Captains Barade you with Deadly Explosives cuz why not and give em all Elements for Shields... why not only Void.. no it needs to be more infuriating... the First Encounter is easly Doable... but the Second part caused so many deaths so many out of Ammo moments and Ruined my Run... i had over 13 minutes by starting the S**T Survive part... i finished it with 2 Minutes left... do you playtest this... i'm 1311... 9 power below the Req... and this Mission turned thanks to the Timer in one of the Worst Missions Thanks Bungie i love you too... Remove the Timer... everyone is happy... i don't Care that the Cata is in the Master Difficulty but the Timer Takes the Fun away... another Fun mission downgraded to a Rush Through Garbage Mission... I WANT TO TAKE MY TIME AND PLAN MY STEPS... no one can do this if the Enemies have 4 times the Health and get Rainbow Shields
i have seen many things but i can say i had never Fun playing a Mission with a Timer in it... whoever thought this is Nice and tought people like it should be Kicked out of the Team...

No champions , to appease whiners . Just a 25 mins limit which is not at all hard to do. The waaambulance must be overloaded with all the crying.

1 ReplyTo be honest I also dislike timers because not all gamers are equal, especially in this game. But, after four tries I completed the mission with two clanmates. I am probably mediocre or a little better in Destiny, and up until the last run I was contemplating not getting the catalyst because I think a hipfire lever action rifle breaks immersion. But, we got it done in 23 minutes, which is longer than most, but still done. Whisper and Outbreak had timers too and I never completed them because of the jumping. I'd say those two are harder than this. Our loadouts weren't even ideal. I would prefer to play solo myself, but sometimes I'd rather just get the mission done over having to sweat it out an hour plus. I don't even think you'll to go back in as you either get kills or open caches during the "exotic" mission, which I'm assuming means normal too.

People like me who don't play this game for a living will now get absolutely destroyed by this ridiculous catalyst in PvP where it's already so unbalanced it's a nightmare. Uninstalling the game and playing something better until things change

I knew this would happen, everyone was hyped because it was so easy solo flawless. The mission was barely a challenge at first, now they made it properly end game and everyone is butthurt because they can't solo it.

Just saw it was 25 minutes long. If they’d given us 45 or an hour I would have found it ok, but 25 is too dang short.

I mean, I'm not a huge fan of timers myself... But the mission isn't difficult or long. There isnt a need to do master solo. And there are no champions. Personally, I think that is the big reason for the timers, because scorn don't have champions.

Bungie are a joke only thing they know how to do is add timers which only makes things less enjoyable put the game down and play other better games there is plenty out there.

I feel like quitting for a few more months now because I can’t play these activities unless I grind for 3 weeks.

Was trying it solo on master and would agree the abominations have too much health lost so much time... Used lfg and did it first try ... it’s not hard unless solo even then it’s artificial difficulty... bullet sponges

I managed to finish it with about 1m 30secs left as part of a team. The enemy part wasn't bad because we were just dumb firing two tail everywhere. Additionally two of us were titans and were critically wounded...that is all I'm gonna say. Once we knew the route the timer really wasn't an issue, we were in the final room with about 6 minutes. It was the finesse of the boss and clearing the room which required planning.

Eh. The enemies have more healt and damage, it has a timer and the shields dont break that easy. If it only takes that to ruin a great mission, then they shouldnt do a master version at all.

My bet is the timer is there in place off the scorn not having any champions yet.

3 RepliesLiterally the two rules of the forums: 1) the game needs to be challenging enough to where it feels good to get rewards. 2) if I cannot complete an activity, it is too challenging and the whole game needs to be changed. You kids are so entitled it’s ridiculous.

10 RepliesI hate timers to,I cheesed zero hour and would have cheesed whisper if I knew about the cheese back then I thought Bungie learned that people want to take there time and explore , but they listened to the streamers and slapped a timer on it, plus to get the shell we have to find all hidden compartments This sounds like a nightmare for even a 3 man team
