On this website, any Recovery and request thereof (paid or not) is against the Code of Conduct.
We will ban any of them whenever we can, under our own set guidelines for them.
Streamers, Celebrities and even Employees are not exempt from this.
Feel free to report Recoveries if you see them, that will bring them to our attention even if the Fireteam or Posts have been hidden.
And to be honest, we can't even know who the person posting really is since you can just pick any Username on bungie.net and we don't check for the platform names of Users, nor do we have any list of Streamer's platform account names since that would be a violation of privacy.
Everything outside of this website is out of our reach and we cannot take action for anything happening outside of here.
That is in the hands of Bungie and while they may or may not ban people for Recovery Services (since some platforms allow them in a certain way, for example a friend jumping on your account) I can assure you that offering services for payment and other misconduct is a pretty fast way to lose any support of Bungie.
Edit: Just to clarify, with "we" I am referring to the Ninja Team.
We are volunteers and not employed by Bungie. I am not speaking on Bungie's behalf.

If we report the recovered account, the person who is doing the recovery doesn’t get a scratch on him/her. I can name at least 10 streamers who openly advertise recoveries like it’s a business.
-
Read the first line of the post. The ninja team can only handle what happens on this website.
-
I appreciate everything you and the ninja team do, it makes me sad to see you guys catch all the hate for no reason. Keep up the good work brother.
-
It's not "for no reason"
-
Thank you for that amazing feedback
-
You wouldn’t happen to be the same desert eagle that was high ranked on raid.report by chance?
-
In what aspect? I haven’t done very many raids except for dsc because I love the absolute crap out of that raid and plus spoils.
-
Lol no worries then. I used to farm EoW with a group of top ranked raiders/sherpas. Like top 10/20 in the world. One of them was a guy named desert eagle that helped my team run the 3rd fastest EoW clear in the world. I saw the name and thought “huh, maybe it’s the same dude.”
-
I wish I was that cool
-
And yet this is on Xbox LFG and websites that do this.
-
Were you being dishonest up to the moment you said you were going to be honest?
-
Bro do you have one of the sweet Ninja emblems ?
-
Yes I do. The new one is on my Titan. The old one is on my Warlock.
-
Bra...that’s sick. Keep up the good work
-
Thank you very much!
-
Have you looked at the trials lfg lately???
-
Thank you for that open explanation for once. Ignore all the mindless haters, such refuse isn't part of the Community and should be paid no attention. Keep it up.

Edited by High Charity: 2/16/2021 1:30:34 AMThe Ninja team literally can't do anything about people advertising recoveries off-site. They can and will take action if it comes to Bnet, eventually.
-
Yes, let's hate on someone who is literally just trying to explain things for all, instead of being silent like Bungie. That will show them and be a benefit to the Community!

Because the discussion wasn't bad before with all the assumptions around. They apparently looked to clarify things as an official source. They certainly should've just locked this but people are just going to scream CENSORSHIP then again. Great lose lose situation, and no one is just going to appreciate what they do. That's the Community here. Sure, they should just not respond anymore, we know how well that works with Bungie. /s

Edited by DUNNY1981: 2/15/2021 9:43:28 AMIt’s easy to spot a mile off , if a persons KD dramatically jumps then he’s on a recovery or he’s cheating. A person cannot get better over night it takes months and months of constant play to gradually get better. And those who have 0.0kd and win trials matches are also cheating. It’s really that easy.
