There are so many things about PvP that need to be fixed:
Connection quality - playing people on the other side of the world most games, 300ms+ ping games. Players teleporting and melees not registering. Get shotgunned around corners before the player renders on my screen. Getting killed by fusion rifles that I didn’t even hear them charge. Getting shot 20 ft behind cover. Feels like everyone is using a lag switch. (They exist, look at the thousands of happy customers on eBay)
Lobby balancing - always sure to put the 5 lowest skill players using double primaries on my team against 6 Stasis Hunters rocking Felwinters and 120rpm hand cannons.
Maps- we needed new maps several seasons ago
Stasis - fun for 5 minutes but has caused most people to quit. It’s clear that it was a terrible addition to PvP and should be disabled for PvP. It isn’t fun being frozen every 2 seconds.

Agreed. The introduction of stasis has kept me and many of my clan mates out of pvp. Horrible mechanics. Freeze and slow in a game where movement was the last skill gap? Unbelievable.

4 RepliesI am not a good PVP player but at one time I was steadily improving. At some point it just became unplayable for me and it has stayed that way. Either Bungie thinks it’s fine or they are too lazy to fix. Hard to say but I do think it’s bad customer service to have as many people unhappy with a product as are unhappy with PVP.

Exactly. I also think that maps need to be fixed (ex. Dead cliffs if you spawn in a you will lose the match, also altar of flame you could get trapped at c spawn) it's frustrating.

Other games soved this issue by having players with high ping do 0 damage.
