I'm curious why you guys went with another public event type seasonal activity vs a sundial/menagerie type activity. Only thing with the trailer is a reskin 180 for trials, the new trials armor which I'm a fan of and a solar trinity ghoul?

The constant changes in the sun box every season actually make balancing the game worse, hand cannon metas are a step in the wrong direction

Melees are inconsistent with registering making the game feel more broken

Maps are horridly small and force gameplay with 1 shot abilities every other second, matchmaking is clearly forced into a mercies, game after years of being active is severely unbalanced and doesn’t seem play tested

Entire map is not being utilized for spawns, people are immediately being spawned in the middle of fights when it’s a 1v1

Bungie: Swords are used too much and are nerfing them another 15%. I'm am against sunsetting. Falling Guillotine is the only Vortex Frame. It is one of those weapons that are supposed to be left behind with sunsetting. If you are nerfing swords, undo the heavy damage nerf. If you want a better alternative, forget the nerf and make Lament use more energy for charged attacks. Bungie: We see swords are used too much and that is why they are nerfed. What does your data say about Linear Fusions? For some reason the most underutilized weapons are ignored. Why not give a 20-30% boost to precision damage on all LFRs to see what it would do for a season? The sword data you see is the same thing as the Sniper data in Shadow Keep. GoS encounters were long range encounters. After people ran through that raid, you said snipers were over used and nerfed them. DSC is mostly a sword and shotgun raid. Now you see too much sword usage.

You make content that requires sword use. You make an op exotic sword. The other heavies suck. So lets reduce damage to make your fights last longer. You guys are clueless.

2 RepliesFusion Rifles and Rocket Launchers are not being used. No shit..... there aint any to use. The weapon pool is a joke. A vault full of stuff but its sitting there capped. Sunset was the end for me. Yes I will still come play from time to time but only when I fancy a quick change from other games. This game has just died

Slight of hand type deal. This is especially of value to you with New Light players, because it's all new to them. Throw in a few cosmetics, a few reskinned weapons here and there....and voila! Nerf rocker launchers, buff them, nerf this, buff that. This is like a bad dream.

5 RepliesLinear Fusion rifles are terrible, grenade launcher were neutered, rocket launchers have always been mediocre, heavy snipers aren't much better than kinetic/energy snipers, and lmgs are only good for redbars (what isn't?). There. Mystery solved. That's why people use swords for dps whenever possible. Because heavy weapons suck, except for swords and a few exotics. Nerfing swords will cause a slight annoyance against Atrax, but overall, people aren't going to switch to all the other mediocre heavies. Also, absolutely NO heavy weapon should have reduced damage against bosses. This should be obvious, but nobody is going to ruin their loadout by equipping a heavy that's only good at ad-clearing.
