Please Bungie, I am humbly asking you to stop continuously restricting us to a limited number of available weapons with each season. New weapons are cool for sure, but I want to use my favorite weapons. Not being able to use my favorite weapons results in the game being less fun for me. Please, just remove the concept of "power limit", please. It's just not adding anything truly positive to the game; the main impact it's having is that it's just upsetting a lot of people.

2 RepliesI'd honestly rather have our power just come from the seasonal artifact. Sure, it'd take some grinding to increase it, but isn't that what we already do? At least with the artifact we could use whatever gear we like.
-
5 RepliesI’m seeing a lot of posts against sunsetting...I think it’s time for a boycott...If we unite I’m sure we can make it happen!
-
Thumbs up if you think bungie only cares about $$$$$
-
1 Replythe only thing that should have gotten sunset was the pinnacle weapons (revoker, mountaintop, etc.). everything else woukd be fine. mindbender wouldn‘t be annoying anymore, because most people use felwinters. spare rations wouldn‘t be an issue anymore either since people use old fashion, dire promise and steady hands. it seems like they only used sunsetting as an excuse to balance the game by getting rid of the pinnacles.
-
I don't see why I cant use an Auto from two years ago with crumby perks if I want too, I love that weapon Bungo - how could you? I know they want people to grind for new season weapons and that's fine just make them worth chasing! But surely if I want to spend upgrade materials on an 'out of season' weapon' that's up to me right?
-
The game was so much better when everything could be used and nothing was arbitrarily turned to garbage. Just completely delete mountaintop or whatever else if that's what's necessary.
-
2 RepliesJust sunset the power system. Its a terrible system
-
What I find really ironic about the whole "1 year timer" on all gear is that the very first gun you acquire in Destiny history, a gun that's almost 7 years old, can still reach 1260 power. Pick up the beyond light quest on a 1260 character, then enjoy your max level Khvostov.

1 Reply“Hey, do you remember the time Bungie made a major change in the game, players complained, and Bungie reversed their decision?” ...... Said no one ever.
-
Wait what? Sunsetting was a bad idea after all? I thought that’s what destiny needed? All loot games leave loot behind everyone said? Huh. Hahahahahahha hahahhahahahhaabahabahahhahahahahahah Hahaha Hahah Where’s the pro sunsetting players now? Hahahahahhahaha Hahahahhaa Y’all are fools paying them to remove what you paid for and you all deserve what you got. I don’t feel bad for any of you

4 RepliesWhy not just re-perk & random roll some of the Year 1&2 Nightfall weapons Alongside some of the fixed perk Y1 world loot re-issue weapons that never got a chance of random rolls (before weapons that already been seen and reissued twice) Still waiting for random roll DFA, Wardens Law, Duty Bound, Horrors Least etc all of Y1 Trials of the Nine weapons.(I loved the Y1 Auto Rifles & Sidearms) - put them in Prophecy/Pit/Throne & Comp if need be! The Judgment was a great HC, as was the Relentless Pulse Even some curated versions Manannan (With an elemental switch would be great!) Origin Story (Good enough for Zavala - never made it to exotic) There are so many awesome fixed D2Y1 guns. Hakke scout rifles and sidearms Omolon SMGs, Handcannons, and Snipers Suros Snipers (At least, I don't think there's any) Veist sidearms Y1 Nightfall weapons There's a ton of weapons that they could pull from D2Y1 that I wouldn't mind because they never got random rolls, so as far as I'm personally concerned, it's a new weapon pool

1 ReplySCRAP THE CAP 🎵 catchy yeah

15 RepliesEdited by Olórin: 1/18/2021 2:02:08 AMI dont see why they didnt Reissue Y1 weapons with random rolls and promote pinnacles to Exotics. Removed the level cap, If they were worried about power creep (Lol PoWEr CrEEp) then why not just allow the new season weapons an extra weapon mod slot until its first or second season ends, allowing them to be somewhat more desirable to equip since they would currently have some form of advantage over older weapons. The mod slot could be a PvE damage buff, Enhance recoil, Explosive rounds Enhancer, Range Enhancer, plus any weapon related seasonal artifact mods so it could free up a weapon slot mod as well as an armour mod slot, maybe a secondary elemental mod that combines two elements, etc. And could be paired with other universal mods. - the main thing is that this would be an exclusive mod until the season or second season ends. At least then people will have the incentive to grind out for new loot and everyone gets their loot they desire to play with back, Y1 weapons would feel new and fresh rather than reinstating weapons that are two months old. Right now it looks like an indecisive action made without saying they were wrong to sunset them in the first place imo. Not only this but newer weapons will have a season or two advantage with the added mod slots.

Cause I really wanna be using the same guns/armor over and over again. New perks on the guns I'm cool with. But if nothing is new with guns/armor being brought back, then I don't wanna see it nor use it. Really just wish for a new loot pool of guns/armor, but sadly not seeing that soon either. Let alone a decent amount being made new or brought back with new perks.

“We want you to play the way you want to play” Okay.
-
Sadly if they aren’t listening by now they will never listen
-
Let's be real, they wont revert what they have done. We can only hope to change what they do in the future. But I wouldn't hold my breath.
-
Good luck with that.

Sunsetting has honestly put more restrictions on my loadout. I used to switch up my exotic weapon often and I had a full inventory of legendaries to use. Now that all the raid gear I got (read: Scourge and the 3 Levi raids) and used often have been vaulted, I now only use Heritage, Arctic Haze, and Lament because all my other guns are fine and the current pool sucks ass.

9 RepliesI've been following the trend here. And for the first time Kelly Green is right. Bungie will not revert or reverse their stance on this. Bungie made their bed and they are sleeping on it. I don't like what they did to this game. But no matter how loud we shout, they will not change. Kelly Green is correct. We should leave. Quit the game. If you can't, then stay. But if you can quit, then quit the game. They will not change. You can shout. Or you can shout and quit. If not, then keep playing. But you'll be disappointed. I chose to quit.

I dismantled all that gear. Pretty sure I’m not the only one to have done that
-
9 RepliesLess weapon diversity now then before sunsetting. All i use now is heritage and ikelos
-
You know... if you are gonna reissue weapons reissue y1 y2 weapons with fix roll and give them random rolls so someone actually find reason to use them? no, bring back the same shit and give old ones a power cap isn't reissue, that's just bungo being a fuking -blam!-.
-
1 ReplyOh you mean how the game should be? Lol not gonna happen, it doesn’t involve money.
-
Absolutely won’t happen. Makes too much sense and they wouldn’t make money off of that lol. This isn’t even our game anymore. It’s Luke’s. It’s Luke’s personal gaming project and the players are just along for the ride.
