I may have missed it, but are the re-issued activities going to be useful for the pointless power grind? Or are they just going to drop at level? If they just drop at current level then it’s time to just go ahead and vault those destinations to further improve our load times.

After being mad about it at first I'm now kinda glad as its stopped me playing the game and I can now see how horrendous the state of it has become and I've been playing since early D1 so I've been through all the highs and lows.

4 RepliesI commend the team for finally introducing shatter dive nerfs. They are much needed. With shatter dive nerfs, I do not see the core issues of stasis addressed (I get they are "in early discussions" but PvP has been broken for 2 months). I've mentioned previously it's fun subclass in PvE and it's pretty cool to mess around with. In Crucible, there are no usable alternatives. In fact, this last trials run has shown me that gunplay is maybe a quarter of the current PvP scene. The games are centered entirely on abilities and mobility, and the gunplay feels like an afterthought. Buff up ability recharge, freeze, shatter, and repeat. If this isn't changed on a fundamental level in PvP I don't see how committed and competitive players will remain playing. I am definitely sitting out the next few season passes, and potentially even the next expansion.

The reason your destinations became "irrelevant" was because [b]YOU AS A STUDIO[/b] just gave up on improving the end game and making people play that meaningful content over and over again..... wow PoH now drops +16 stat rolls on 2 stats on end chest.... seriously what the -blam!- am I suppose to use that gear on when its THE SAME CONTENT we have played for years now. remove sunsetting and introduce actual PvE modes to introduce targeted loot so people can play WHAT THEY WANT. the fact you NEED sunsetting to make destinations relevant is literally the laziest game loop ive seen any game do, like seriously, no passion, no effort to even add content like Managerie or some horde mode etc. to at least give destinations meaning.

Now you're telling me hey we're putting new stuff in the loot pool after YEARS of the same garbage but all my tokens will be worthless by then? 21 RepliesOkay - I read the Twab. So your re-issuing the same gear you forced use to delete via Sunsetting. I'm sure the perks you manipulated will be the same broken trash (i.e. RangeFinder or Kill Clip on rocket launchers, Surrounded on Grenade or Rocket Launchers etc., High Stats for Hunt armour - which is a sad joke), making this gear totally pointless and a waste of time to grind for. Is it too much to ask for you to actually put in the work and come up with something "New" to earn? Secondly, although it's nice to have more sources of rarer materials, you do not address the fact to get those materials we have to grind the same old minuscule amount of content over and over and over to get it (i.e. no New Strikes, Crucible maps or Gambit maps). And don't tell me D1 Strikes and Crucible maps are "New" - they are recycled content (i.e. renaming the Omnigul Strike doesn't make it new) much the same as the Moon was. You've done nothing to address the lack of Content that you Sunset, except to string us along. Frankly, the only good thing has been that Beyond Light came "free" with my Xbox Game Pass and I am very glad I never spent a dime on this.

Nessus, and Europa. The rest just drop capped, and sunset gear. The fact that you are having to bring back items (less than 3 months after sunset dropped), and make players reacquire them which is -blam!- you to all players, just so it appears that the Dreaming City, and The Moon are actually worth visiting for a short time.
