Can we get some straight characters ?
The only character that we know he could be straight is cayde and he isn’t even sure that he had a son
Also how comes that almost every main character is either gay bi or lesbian?

I prefer a good bromance over a gay relationship. Why cant bro's just be bro's? I mean, brah?! Being gay gets thrown around like its something special, but its actually just as special/relevant as being straight. But a true bromance is something pure, just two souls understanding each other, going on adventures as bro's, doing bro things without the need of sexual confirmation of their broski's, only acceptance of eachothers nature.

1 ReplyI wondered the same actually almost every significant character in lore turns out to be gay. Its simply annoying by this point. Instead of being a simple characteristic, like it is, with the way and amount of it happening in Destiny lore it feels like tokenism rather than anything genuine. Least we got best power couple Mara and Shaxx.

The Drifter tells everyone to punch everything to fix things in life. This must be a go woke go broke thing. The female characters look more like small skinny male characters. I don't care what flavor they are. Black,White,Gay, Lesbian, Asian, or Japanese. the biggest problem yeah a new one today is the massive issues with crap not working game play graphics & audio. PE on Nessus claims you lost a heroic event when you win. Others just not working at all. Ships exhaust in graphics not working Many bounties not working. The new players are so screwed with poor quality grind play.

25 RepliesWhy do I feel like that if I were to dislike the thought of Shaxx and Mara potentially being a thing, no one would bat an eye. But when I say I’m not a fan of the Saint+Osiris thing, I’m called a homophobe. My problem isn’t because it’s gay. I don’t mind that. I just don’t like it bc I’ve always seen them as best friends/brothers. And it’s hard for me to imagine Osiris of all people trying to seek a relationship. Even if the relationship were straight (ie if one of the two were female) I still wouldn’t be a fan. In the end I really don’t care about the sexuality of npc’s in a video game, but I do have a problem with how other people think it means the world to them. This applies to people pandering for both hetero and homo. But that’s just me. Just remember that my opinion literally means nothing. Just throwing it in cause why not.

They include it because they have no substantial dlc, so they want to generate a buzz by staying so and so is gay, bi, etc. They have to include them because if they don't, the LGBT community throws a massive tantrum about not being represented. The moment you say you don't care about it, you are automatic homophobe, etc. It's basically a participation trophy. To make a small sect feel bigger, despite many not giving a -blam!- about who they grind in a closet.

Is the lore re-writing comic-lady back on the scene? Ah, these modern times we live in. I feel really sorry for the current/younger generation - all creativity swamped by banality! Where’s the edge, shape, underground, disruption. No-one who I have a met playing this game could care less about sexual preference, race, ability/disability, Coke/Pepsi, of the characters within it. It is not important and does not add value or immersion, it just adds to the right-on woke agenda pushing fatigue. Do it within your company but please spare us in your product - the new Star Trek is virtually unwatchable due to the emotive box-ticking in the narrative. Please for gods sake stop!

If it bothers you that much, then you need to get out more and address your close minded attitude. Anyway it’s just a game right?
