Hell no

Edited by TheArtist: 10/12/2020 6:13:49 PMNo. Because people would use it to troll. It got to be such a problem----as a means to deny people the ability to collect they loot they'd earned for completing an activity----that Massive finally had to step in and DISABLE both it and matchmaking for boss fights. People would deliberately screw people over by letting them complete an activity. Then kick that person from the team...then invite their friends to come collect the free loot. There was no postmaster in that game. So once you were kicked form the instance the loot was gone forever. What Bungie needs to do is stop trying to micro-manage everything, and let people play the parts of teh game they want to play. People AFK because they're havnig their arm twisted to do activities they either don't enjoy....or aren't rewarding.

2 RepliesVote to kick will just be abused like in siege
-
3 RepliesPlease dont bring that in, it will be as toxic as r6s.
-
No way have you seen rainbow six siege? They are literally removing it cause people used it toxically. No way do I want that in this game
-
2 RepliesNo. Because here's what's going to happen. 2 people are going to farm lost sectors in strikes and kick the 3rd so they can stay in that area permanently. Because what I do is join, see them in lost sectors and rush forward and die. It locks them into the strike area and boom. I win.
-
So people can vote to kick the top players....nope aint gonna happen!
-
Vote to kick has been abused in just about every game that has used it. Typically any time you get matched with a group they vote to kick anyone not in the party. A better solution is just to kick idle players to orbit after 30 seconds of no movement or 30 seconds of the same movement (ie. Rubber banded joysticks)
-
1 ReplyIf you report afk players they’re removed so you don’t need a vote option
-
That’s a bad idea, most games that have it have people that abuse the system and ruin the game for many.
-
Nah Sounds like a terrible idea
-
Edited by Mustafa: 10/12/2020 9:52:42 PMYes, but no.
-
Edited by Omnoms: 10/12/2020 9:26:09 PMThis can easily be abused by teams simply if they see you bottom fragging in a pvp game or slow in a strike. That’s a big no from me.
-
Yeah The amount of times you play with a group of friends, who kick you right at the end of an activity after you've spent your life which you'll never get back, just so they can pull another friend in. Yeah, it's not a good system. Happened all the time in left 4 dead, and there's nothing you can do about it.
-
No..because people would use that to troll.
-
People would just abuse it.
-
Nah, Bungie doesn't need to do that. What they should have done was have ciphers be a per player drop awarded for kills in the Haunted Forest. Say 1 for every 10 kills or something. Then have unused ciphers purged at the end of the activity. Instead of making sure people play the activity, Bungie chose a mechanic that makes sure they play almost every activity except the one where it matters.
-
Definitely not. It would be abused.
-
Hell no. Have you not seen Rainbow Six lately? You make one simple mistake and next thing you know you got kicked by your team. Hell I've been kicked out of seige simply because I "chose the wrong operator"
-
A kick option in matchmaking would be abused so badly. Hard pass.
-
How about if the person is inactive for 2 min.A pop up option to kick gets sent to the other fireteam members. If both players say yes, then player gets kicked
-
Nope. Horrible idea. Don’t want to play with AFK kids and Cheaters make your own fireteam.
-
No. Because it would get abused. End of story. This has been discussed plenty of times in D1 times already.
