Don’t warlocks have a similar idea with their grenades?
[spoiler]Not saying that I’m against this, but that the idea of “consume X ability for Y alternate ability” is already in the game.[/spoiler]

We have convert but we don't have replace. I would like to see an exotic that replaces rift for another thing entirely.

I’m a big fan of a consuming the rift to make an elemental soul matching your equipped subclass. I love getaway artist, but I’d much rather consume my rift.
