Here's an idea for you - Put a vault and postmaster on every Destination next to the vendor.
It would help alot, and save some time going back and forth to the tower. Edit I know about the app and item manager, but this 3rd option is a whole lot better. Edit you guys in this community don't know what you want at all, same as me, and I don't know what I want in this game most of the time either, but this idea is not bad or good, I'm tired of making so many trips to the tower to clear out the postmaster when I can be patrolling a destination I don't want to leave from and furthermore the app and other item managers are not that great, It's better to have it, in the game than out of the game in my opinion.

Here's a better idea, make that shit available from the director ffs, it's 2020 and we have a billionaire walking around trying to create a taxi service to Mars and we still can't access our vault in game when 3rd party apps can

This is literally what we(me) were hoping for when they talked about planet vendors for D2. Like a small town or hideout similar to the farm in game but we got one person per planet.

Im pretty sure that was the original plan for D1 - before the game was dismantled into pieces and rationed out for exorbitant prices. Bungie realized that keeping the vault and postmaster at the tower would increase the amount of time a player remains logged in. Dont you love going to the tower?

Would probably be better off with a menu like your inventory! Where you could just say what you want to do with your items hence bypassing all the unneccessary mouseclicks, movement, etc. just to put items in your vault, move materials, dismantle, upgrade items etc. move items from vault to inventory and vica versa... A policy setting for the users where you could say that "all blue armor below a certain level to automatically be dismantled etc. " A sort on gun/armor level hence you could se all top level gear , a sort where you could just pick one class or one kind of weapon/armor in your vayult There are so many things the Bungie developer could have done with the game and made it user friendly instaead of all the stupid running around like headless chickens just to move items, exchange materials etc.

Givem the state of quality of life improvements being implemented into the game, a feature for Destiny 5, maybe.

What if they made destiny 2 have an item manager app function along side destiny 2 in game. I have seen other games have a wiki style database that can be opened while in game.
