You have to admit that some songs are really freaking good.

The music is on par with how it should be for a game like destiny. It should be decent, and it is. But it’s not mind blowing or breathtaking. And it certainly doesn’t surpass the Halo soundtrack.
-
I mean, it’s like most things; not everyone likes the same music. So other people are going to have a different opinion than “Destiny music is amazing”
-
3 RepliesYes. I can’t remember what the mission name is, but its the one for the exotic sniper on io. The soundtrack when you get to one of the stages is really sick.
-
27 RepliesWhy do so many hate Density?
-
Yeah, density is really important when it comes to making sound and music, as less dense objects tend to reduce volume and is not only important when making an instrument, but also to make sure that you don’t get echoes in your recordings.

The Nessus song be creepy tho

thank you based marty

1 ReplyThe soundtrack is pretty generic loud trumpets and a hard drum beat imo The only OST that stood out to me as halfway decent was the Oryx theme from Kings Fall, but I feel like that was only good because of external stuff like the final phase being pretty stressful and the grand scale of it
-
24 RepliesD1 had some good music. None of D2’s are as memorable imo
-
Some. The majority are entirely forgettable.
-
Most of them are just decent. The OG Destiny ones are really the only good ones, and a select few of the vanilla tracks, I can think of nothing notable about Forsaken and Shadowkeep.
-
I most certainly do not.

1 ReplyYou fycking kidding me, this place is #destiny2 with a salt filter and a mask

Edited by Shamrock-74: 8/20/2020 11:33:36 PMShell of What Was and the Forsaken main theme are absolute bangers.

I liked one song throughout the franchise and have long fogotten the rest. And if I'm being honest, I only remember it because it played during the fight against a dude that looked like a giant turkey.

Edited by Cobravert: 8/20/2020 6:24:51 PMI received the D1 (or D2, don't remember) music download as a prize for something a long time ago, but just recently put it on my phone. On a long drive last weekend it played some of the songs. I gotta say, without context in visuals, the music just doesn't work very well on it's own. Stuff would be great for insomniacs though. I need to download the Halo 3 soundtrack.
