Actually it suppose to be for everyone just like comp. But bungie would rather pander to youtubers and streamers because they give free advertisement. So instead of doing right for the whole of the community by getting rid of the loss counter they would rather make there causal gamers feel like loser while promoting toxicity with letting that 1% of the player base feel like winners when they get put against the casual gamer.
