Templarmkiii you make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

29 RepliesPvP should never be required for anything.

2 RepliesBungie needs to stop focusing on PvP. Let it be a side mode people play for fun and stop trying to make it more than that. Every attempt to focus on pvp has either been bad for the game or has involved bungie can't sustain. D2 Vanilla: Everything based around balanced PvP. Nearly killed the game. Nobody liked it. Trials of the Nine: Loot was bad, game mode wasn't fun. Nobody wanted to play it so this version of trials died slowly. Competitive PvP: Nobody every played it for fun or because they liked it. People only played it for the pinnacle weapons. As soon as people go the weapons they left. Pinnacle Weapons in Comp: The people who had the weapons like it, but bungie cried about power creep and said they could keep it up. Trial of Osiris: Despite having a perfectly good formula that worked in D1 Bungie decides to reinvent the the game mode and it's a trash fire. This is the second time they've screwed up trials in D2. The point is that bunige has failed to make high level PvP work time and again. The PvP community is never happy with what they do. And I would argue that PvP in a looter shooter will always be unbalanced. Unless bungie has some radical plan for PvP in beyond light I think PvP in destiny is just going to continue to be a mess.

4 Replies7 wins is too many.. 3 wins is more reasonable.. removing the trials requirement altogether is ideal.. WTBS i completed it already but i don’t like that ppl are forced to win 7 trials matches for such a measly reward.
-
3 RepliesAdd trials requirement to solstice event Lesser skilled pvp players go to trials and get obliterated by top tier players Top tier players stop complaining about sweaty matches Bungie are heroes
-
I have never felt more frustrated playing this game. I can understand the need to include pvp requirements in event objectives. I enjoy some light crucible play, although I’m not very good. But the 7 win trials requirement is just ridiculous and frustrating for people like me who are not geared for and not skilled in pvp.

66 RepliesActually it suppose to be for everyone just like comp. But bungie would rather pander to youtubers and streamers because they give free advertisement. So instead of doing right for the whole of the community by getting rid of the loss counter they would rather make there causal gamers feel like loser while promoting toxicity with letting that 1% of the player base feel like winners when they get put against the casual gamer.
-
4 RepliesPlay the game how WE WANT or -blam!- off. Bungies Motto.
-
11 RepliesAlthough I have done my 7 wins and I do enjoy PvP, not great at it but enjoy it. I agree OP. Bungo should of made it Comp wins IMO. Personally I like having PvP in quests but also feel an option to do PvE should be provided. However the same goes for PvE quests, give us a PvP option. Every one should be happy, or rather more happier players.

3 RepliesBungie are massively out of touch with their own game, it's kind of embarrassing.

2 RepliesAssigning logic to bungie is like assigning logic to a dirty politician. Their hidden motto is “Do as I say, not as I do.”
-
6 RepliesI wanna see the Bungie Employees try and get 7 wins. I bet they would struggle to get 1.
-
2 RepliesThere are two ways to completely ruin a business almost overnight: 1: treat the customers like shit 2: take up any political stance at all, completely pissing off all sides of the consumer base. It seems that bungie and other businesses didnt pay attention in school or to some of the most successful entrepreneurs

7 RepliesEdited by OBI-SWEDE KENOBI: 8/17/2020 2:16:56 PMFace the fact - you are cannon fodder for the twitchers. All Bungie has done recently is listened to and pleased the twitchers. But hey! Don’t forget to buy the DLC so the fun can continue.

9 RepliesDo what I did. I dismantled the Solstice armor, logged off of Destiny, and played FFXIV instead. Destiny'll still be there if they pull their heads out of their asses long enough to make worthwhile content. In the meantime, play something that doesn't waste your time and revel in the Bungie Defense Force telling you why you're the problem for waking up to the fact that Destiny has become nothing more than a hollow cash grab. It was fun while it lasted though.

2 RepliesIf Trials is supposed to be a hardcore PvP league then make it one and don't let it mix with regular PvP or, for the love of all that is holy, PvE! Make the loot pool exclusive to Trials - usable only in Trials, and the only equipment usable in Trials. Eliminate the need for the elite to have to farm dumb, boring, repetitive, easy PvE like the 99% of us, the plebs and scrubs, have to because we can't git gud. Give them a set of armor and gear with fixed rolls as a reward for the Trials quest, then let them farm their favorite game mode to their hearts' content. Heck, spin off Trials in its own game. I'm sure it will do just fine, being great and all. And as a bonus, it will be quite a tiny game, just one map, 15 armor pieces, and maybe 30 weapons. Isn't life great?

Think I'll keep my EV glows lol

Edited by CookieNiki: 8/16/2020 6:42:40 PMBest decision is giving this low effort, copy/paste event the middle finger. I know I did.

1 ReplyTotally agree! Before starting the grind, I went over the requirements and as soon as I saw the Trial requirement I knew that this was a lame attempt by Bungie to have more ppl join Trials cause nobody wants to play it (I wonder why? lol). There is no way I will be doing it! Bungie can keep their white glow. No amount of loot of any sort can entice me with playing the total BS that is Trials! Worst playlist ever, populated by the worst kind of gamers ever! Trials should go away, and it will... because less and less ppl is playing it. It will simply die on its own, you'll see.

Trials leaves tmw so I’m going to have to use LFG and play with randoms

Edited by KingdeKobra: 8/17/2020 11:14:44 AMyou want casuals in trials but not going flawless, that’s how it was in d1 and d1 was a flawless game.

5 RepliesOr maybe it’s better to not participate in this event at all? If you play trials for any reason, you are just proping up this trash. This event is literally the exact same thing as last year except with glows. Nothing new. No new armor, activity, or weapons.
