Wow Bungie. Lazy doesn't even describe this anymore. You even left in the wrongly listed requirement on Arc Super kills for Warlocks. Shame on you.
EDIT: Let's take a moment to appreciate that you get the purple armor, which you then have to upgrade to another purple armor that looks the exact same, and only THEN you can go do the glow requirements.

I disagree last year was the carbon copy. Last year was the exact same armor as the year before. And last year you had to buy 3x the armor glow for each character even though they were exactly the same. This year is a huge improvement. I would highly recommend you play long enough to dull your expectations so much that when bungie craps this shit out you think to yourself wow that met bare minimum expectations I set for myself. Great job. People seem to forget bungie is a small indie developer with 4 people currently working on the game. When you learn to view it through that perspective events like this are quite amazing.

Yea man. I was highly disappointed to see THE EXACT crap. I

16 RepliesThey eat the old shit and shit out new-old shit. It's re-shitted shit. Don't even get bright dust for event bounties. Armor is ugly. What's the point again?

Waste of time thanks to Sunsetting, waste of money thanks to Vaulting Paid Content etc. Sunset my Gear, Sunset my Business. Vault my bought and paid for content, Vault my Wallet. F Bungie.

1 ReplyYou all have shown Bungo that's OK through years of accepting this recycling and yet pre-order next content without even knowing what is it about(AKA annual pass year 1, year 2, gambit 1.5, season of the yawn, shadowshit) and NOW you revolt, protest and care to disapprove??? 🙄 Please

2 RepliesEdited by Semper Fidelis: 8/12/2020 2:38:23 PMi didnt play last year; so its new for me...
-
38 RepliesThen don't play it, Karen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Just 99%, including most bugs. The only new thing is the faster progression on 2nd and 3rd character.
-
And there’s not even a reward for getting all three sets 😀
-
8 RepliesWhy would we want them to spend any time updating the event? They have way more important content to work on. It's not terrible event so just let it go on. Ether play it or don't but the whining is pointless. Most festivals in the real world don't change at all year to year either.

7 RepliesI’d rather drag my ballsack over a mile of broken glass than grind that

events are the same every year on most games. you saw the trailer, you saw the title. The fact that you thought it would of been different from last year or the years before that is odd. All they have done this year is made the grind easier and allowed people to get the ornaments without grinding.

Edited by CookieNiki: 8/12/2020 8:24:19 PM
A 100% copy of last year??
Don't tell me you don't know Bungie famous motto: "making content is hard"
-
9 RepliesNah. There are ornaments this year. I'm happy.
-
Hey, give them some credit. There's no reward for getting the Legendary armor sets for all three classes this year. So there's even less incentive to upgrade the armor more than once.
-
Yup. Lazy Ass Development. We should all be used to it by now as it’s been happening for the past year. Does anyone truly believe Beyond Light will be any different? Only the blind.

6 RepliesAfter grinding it out and spending money past two years for rewards that were immediately useless I'll be celebrating this year's Solstice of Heroes by playing Borderlands 3. Thanks Bungie for giving me a reason to catch up on other games.
-
Was not even copy pasta they just turned it back on.

13 Replies👉🏼I think Bungie is implementing these game mechanics to get rid of the low energy⚡️casual liberal🤮❄️❄️. Your reaction is probably intended🔥😁💕

Just to let you know, you can buy the glow and equip it on your majestic armour (First set of purple)!

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 8/12/2020 10:34:17 PMFor those planning on grinding out 2-3 sets of armour for Warlock, Hunter & Titan There’s a hidden bonus to the grind A x2 & x3 multiplier to the progression on the the second & third character (respectively) (Be Aware, this might be bugged if you ran Titan as first character - so far it’s unchecked ) Full explanation in the link (courtesy of MTashed) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aB526u9VlE Something that even Dmg04 wasn’t aware of (nor written in any Solstice guide description) Seems Bungie Devs don’t even communicate with their own community managers or promotional/marketing team (streamers/Tassi etc) 😆
