In pve yes but mouse and keyboard vs controller in PvP is terrible. People using the mouse on Xbox has already made trials a joke.
-
1 ReplySony and Microsoft is the problem there
-
2 RepliesLet consoles play together, keep PC in their own playground As it always should be
-
Console crossplay? Absolutely. Console/PC cross-platform? Keep away
-
2 RepliesHell no. We don’t need the stench of PC infecting consoles. And honestly they’re not even the same game. PC has no business mixing in crossplay. PC has too many advantages over consoles right now.
-
2 RepliesWhile console crossplay is ok, but not PC, Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen.
-
No. PC needs to keep its issues there...
-
4 RepliesIt's not up to Bungie, I'd assume they'd like to (it'd only help the game), but it's up to Microsoft and Sony.
-
I just played war zone for first time with friends on Xbox and it is amazing. Granted war zone is 60fps on Xbox while D2 is only 30fps
-
Console cross play sure. I'm good on playing against PC players who are playing a total different version of destiny then I am.
-
You cant just turn cross play on. You also cant enable cross play on p2p.
-
Probably need to talk to Sony, Microsoft, google and steam.
-
36 RepliesAnd PC too, you know the whole "opt in" crossplay thing thats been very successful and has literally zero drawbacks?
-
Xbox is basically a light version of Windows10 so from a programming standpoint it shouldn't be an issues especially with Xbox now on Steam.
-
2 RepliesNo xbox sucks and shouldn’t even have destiny in the first place. Wish there where still timed exclusives just to make them mad again
-
Ps4 and xbox only. Leave the cheating and hacking there.
-
No. Not now, not ever. I tried cross platform before. The experience turned me off to any future consideration of the concept. I deal with assholes aplenty on PS4 & have nothing but the deepest animosity towards PC elitists. Cross platform? No thank you!!!
-
6 RepliesPVE only maybe, but PvP would be horrendous, I miss my PS4 friends but they drifted away long before Bungie pulled their finger out and sorted D2, but with the speed difference on PC, never mind the rampant cheating PvP would be a bust.
-
Edited by Prince Ice Blaze Winters: 5/30/2020 5:53:47 PMor just go buy an xbox and play the game that way. crossplay is an abomination cause of pc cheating little b*stards.
-
I think crossplay with consoles would be amazing, buut pc nahhh y'all can keep the cheaters and disconnects
-
26 RepliesWill never happen. - Cheating on PC would spill over to consoles. - Console D2 and PC D2 are entirely different versions with their own weapon balancing. - Keyboard players would slaughter controller players. - Sony almost never wants to play nice with Microsoft.
-
buy a console. its clearly more numorous.
-
Sure, cause bugs, cheating, and broken updates aren't bad enough as is. No idea why everyone thinks every game must have CC all of a sudden...
-
You don’t want to experience the pvp issues on pc.
-
2 RepliesStart mowing your neighbors yard and get a paper route. Save up your pittance of earnings and you should be able to buy an XBox sometime after the new consoles come out. Problem solved. You may lock the thread.
-
PvP will never let this happen. Too much cheat and hacks.
