2 RepliesIt really sounds like a step in the right direction but words are just that. I just want the next raid gear set to look high-end and flashy like the stuff from the last year of D1, not this lame and boring stuff from last wish and every other raid, although GoS was an improvement.

We've pretty much had the 'we've put too much focus on Eververse' comment multiple times now. Give it 6 months and it'll be back to how it was. Not to mention the fact its getting close to them wanting our money again and all of a sudden their talking about changes we've wanted for years. It gets old fast.

I really don't see what was amazing about this TWAB, it's typical bungie tactics to please people but you all miss that this stuff ain't coming till year 4 wonder why that is. Next season will remain untouched everything will still be in eververse so it can't be that big of a deal to them to address as these changes surely would be implemented for next season but it's being held back as a selling point for the fall dlc.

The rest is placeholder space. Refreshing of vendors with new armor sets? Sooooooo token dumping 2.0, while farming bounties again. I thought people were against this but it seems some are welcoming it.

Nope. Not amazed. I see the next season being very similar to what we’ve experienced the past 8+ months or so. I see the game improving by September should you decide to reach for your wallet(again) I didn’t read an apology from the Game Director for taking the franchise down a FOMO rabbit hole and dictating to all players how end game content was to be played through the mod-champion system debacle. Nope. All I read was we’ve milked what remains of the player base for as much as we can from the cash store so going forward those items will soon be available via gameplay. Perhaps I’m mistaken?

i agree but lets not forget that this should always be the case. the fact that it took THIS LONG to figure out that a looter shooter needs -blam!-ing loot as a reward for all the shoot is a joke. not to mention, they said mtx's would never go as far as they did and 5 years later are finally getting pulled

I'm actually OMG like everyone else, but this is not a matter of one real good TWAB (if they keep their promise about everything they've said), that is 99% about cosmetic stuff. If every single TWAB (and patch) in the future is more or less like this one, and also about better quality playable content and not just Eververse/Cosmetic (the few playable content-related stuff they said was 1 weak spoiler of next season legendary weapons to pursue, what should be obvious about a new Raid, and Year 4 stuff), then we'll really have reasons to be happy OMG-level. Meanwhile, we should be cautious, because they've promised and announced many things for years, and then they came late (recent example: those improved rewards to pinnacle), not as they announced (just a few rewards were improved to pinnacle), we're still waiting for them (the Erianna's quest and catalyst improvement), or as we know since the previous game until today: they made some stuff worse and not a proper "balance" because of PVP and/or PC's mouse affecting negatively PVE and the pad controller experience (and it's more like they need to do different weapon and armor tables for each diferent mode and platform to not mess with each other).

Oh its all great stuff they are saying. I'm very happy with this TWAB. Now the real question is, are they actually going to execute these plans or are we going to get jbaited. Its a whole lotta talk right now. I trust them to go through with what their saying, but we'll have to wait and see.

3 RepliesOf course it’s in a good direction. They have to make everyone think they are going in a wonderful new direction to sell the fall expansion it was the same song and dance with shadow keep. Forsaken and the following seasons set the bar and they will probably not achieve that again
