Hunters have Shadowshot (fair), Titans have the grenade (kinda fair) AND a shoulder charge (completely UNFAIR), And Warlocks have....
Nothing.
Now before you all throw your panties at me, I have all three classes, so I think I have room to talk. I’ve tested all three. And I’m sure people will agree with me on this.

1 ReplyReal titans use throwing hammers ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
the suppression on shield charge is ass and doesn’t come into play 99.9% of the time
-
Felwinter's helm is a tether everytime you finisher, for no super cost. It's freaking great! That said middle tree nova warp should have some suppression potential. Maybe on Nova Warp blast and HHSN.
-
3 RepliesWhile I agree Nobody should count shoulder charge. It has no hit detection.
-
I'll sell you all my suppressive abilities (Titan) for your Chaos Reach. It's a good deal you should take it. Take it. Takeittakeittakeit
-
I think we should homogenize all classes so there are no distinctions between any of them. Who’s with me??
-
4 RepliesClasses are supposed to be seperate. By your logic titans and hunters should have air dodge. Shouldn’t happen.
-
5 RepliesWarlocks have a almost infinite super (bottom tree solar) and handheld super nova
-
Screw that just put hhsn back to the way it was that was suppression enough
-
2 RepliesShield bash has such awful hit detection that I’ve mained Titan since forsaken and I didn’t even know it suppressed supers until this post because I’ll hit them straight on and whiff and get killed. Y’all have twilight garrison as a default perk AND the best super in the game, the classes are so close to being balanced stop whining please

32 RepliesEdited by Necrogen: 5/7/2020 4:50:05 PMYou can fly, dodge in the air, and stop mid air to rain hell, you can heal yourself as an ability by eating void, throwing 7 healing suns, by rift and you're worrying about suppression?

1 ReplyWhy have every class have an ability exactly like another, the great thing about destiny is the differences and if you want a supression class, play that class and subclass.
-
I don’t know why people have trouble understanding this but the point of having three different character in the game is to have three different characters in the game. There are and there will always be abilities and features that some classes have that other do not. There was a great post once that talks about this and list many things that two classes have that one does not but I don’t know how to find it so just try and understand this. If all classes had the same thing, there would only be one class in the game.
-
A shield bash that doesn't hit 70% of the time, doesn't properly apply suppression about 50% of the time when it does hit and also gets you killed 95% of the time you try to use it doesn't seem completely unfair to me...
-
I'd rather have Warlocks do something new than do stuff that the other classes do already. That's just boring. They need a stronger identity as the mage/casters they are displayed to be.
-
8 RepliesNo. You have a one shot grenade, ridiculous melee range, blink, nova nuke, healing rifts, stormcaller, etc. Hunters have one(1) one shot melee that takes three hours to wind up, at which point, whoever you were aiming at has moved on. We have zero(0) one shot grenades, unlike warlocks or titans. Our class ability is practically useless. I don’t know how many ‘dodge this’ medals I’ve gotten.
-
Give it to Nova Warps melee ability. When the delayed void blast detonates it’ll suppress everything in a 5m radius.
-
4 RepliesI want a faster firing nova bomb.....
-
8 RepliesThe fact that titans can suppress with a melee and a grenade is a stupid handout bungie gave them especially when tether doesnt suppress consistently enough before you die to the super you were trying to suppress in the first place.
-
Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 5/7/2020 8:12:26 PMSure as soon as titans get twilight garrison. FYI the suppressive shoulder charge is hot garbage and doesn't work 99% of the time... you lose your melee and die to the super anyway... its.... sick!

Blink beside someone and it negates their abilities temporarily. Opponents can still shoot and melee so the risk is still there. Blink is only in one subclass so it wouldn’t overwhelm PvP. Charging and then blinking beside an active super would still be risky due to funky control mechanics of blink itself...unless they gave it fairly wide AOE.

i seriously think warlocks deserve a complete over haul on all their abilities and supers they need to be more tanky and yea i know titans are supposed to be that and hunters are supposed to be speed, why not make warlocks 50/50 of each or something i swear, i main a warlock, but i feel useless with them in pvp.

5 RepliesAbsolutely not

Honestly I disagree. A lot of the warlock subclasses need fixes or reworks rather than just giving warlocks a suppressor. Take top and bottom tree dawnblade for example: Top tree dawnblade is great for neutral game but the super has absolute dogsh*t hit detection. On numerous occasions I have hit an opponent directly with a blade and only got a hitmarkers for less that 100 damage. Bottom tree dawnblade has a fantastic super but has some of the worst neutral game of any subclass in the game. 2/4 of the perks only buff the super and the remaining 2 perks have no synergy with each other. “Kills with this melee ability make the enemy explode,” is one of the perks but that doesn’t tie in or help the subclass in any meaningful way. I’d rather just have things like this fixed than be given something to suppress an opponent.

3 RepliesEdited by Infamous067: 5/7/2020 12:08:05 PMAs a warlock main I disagree, I feel suppression is more of a night stalker thing. I find it silly how titans have a grenade and a melee that suppresses far better and much longer than a super. I instead rather have the ability to use blink on all warlock subclasses, why is it only voidwalker gets blink? Every other class in the game has the exact same jumps and warlocks have only 1 class with blink. I think it would be great to see a blinking dawnblade, or a blinking stormcaller without the need of the specific path in order to blink. I also prefer warlocks to stand out more as the ability class, Its really stupid how titans have the ability to spam more grenades or melees than the one class considered to be the mage class.
