Sitting on my butt waiting for background check on Glock 19 to go through
Apparently what takes a few min currently takes an hour or more. This will be my first gun. Big thanks to Eccho Sierra for all the advice and help.
I feel like I got this just in time. The boogaloo is coming and I'm gonna be glad to have this to protect my home and family. They are already restricting restaurants to carry out only, and closing bank lobbies.
I'm not worried about the damn virus at all. All this stupidity and panic is what has me really worried...
But if it turns out to be nothing I'll have a sexy gun. So stonks I guess?

6 RepliesIf there are any training classes, especially stress training, you should take those courses, as well as safety courses. If you do not like the wait, get your carry license, then you are basically pre-approved. Be mindful of over penetration. Where are your friends & family? Will you tag neighbors? Practice swapping mags with someone screaming at you. Also, buy dummy rounds to practice clearing a jam & such in the circumstances.

I love glock 19’s. They look and sound super sexy and if you plan to go to a range you’ll have a great time. Great pick for a first gun.
