Thanks for everything
I wanna go ahead and thank bungie for completely shitting on destiny 2 as a title and driving all of my friends away from the GAME. I met most of my real life friends because of this game years back, and all I could ask for is to have those good times again with them. Unfortunately that is impossible since none of my friends want to try the game again (for good reason). So now I’m stuck playing a game solo that I’ve grown up with and have amazing memories on. Thanks again, for keeping this game exciting!
Disclaimer: not announcing my departure, just speaking my mind. And I still have the same friends and play many other games with them, just wish we could all raid again n stuff like that. Whenever I try and convince them to try the game again, I have nothing good to say about it. That is bungies fault.

Agreed, out of the dozen irl friends I had along with 20 or so gaming buddies there’s 2 of us left.... very sad none of them care to play anymore, we were die hard pve fans d2 vanilla pushed most of them away but the rest left after Shadowkeep. Games got no clear path and that is very very sad.

Anyone telling me to get a social life know nothing about me and don’t have right to be egotistical -blam!-. I have friends. Simply stating that I wish this game wasn’t the way it is now, bc I miss the good times I used to have with my friends on the game. I play other games with them now, but miss playing destiny with them.

With the way Bungie has changed leveling, you pretty much have to play solo to be efficient with the bounties/XP. I think that is more of a problem as it does not encourage playing in a fireteam. The only time it's encouraged is for end-game pinnacle activities, but the rewards are irrelevant. For the last 2 seasons I played until I finished the season pass then pretty much stopped playing until the next content drop. I suppose I'll be playing for a bit now that the new material is here, but honestly, I'm enjoying BL3 more than D2 these days. P.S. - you can still chat with your online friends even if you're not playing the same game.

Been this way for many people since D2 dropped dude, I play 99.9% solo. I think most do, n that's why they're changing the pinnacle drops, bcoz very few where doing the pinnacle things that needed a team.
