Forfeit Option in Competitive
If my teammates have all left due to shenanigans on the other side, I should not get penalized for leaving and shouldn't have to stay in the match to get lag-slaughtered. Please provide a forfeit option for an understaffed, disadvantaged team. Thank you.

1 ReplyYou'll learn just by playing rumble how to manage those 1v2 or 1v3 because its you vs 5 others. I'm not saying you're gonna be able to win every engagement when you're outnumbered, but you're gonna feel more confident when you're down a teammate

I don't see why so many people think this would be abused. Count it as a loss and make it unanimous. It works well in Siege. I've seen it used very rarely and usually when one team is 1 or 2 players undermanned and is getting smoked by an obviously better team.

I agree there should be a forfeit option, but it MUST count as a loss, you still lose glory as normal, and there should be absolutely no loot and no quest/bounty progress awarded.

As long as it counts as a loss I think this is a good idea. No need to punish someone’s stats in order to finish the game.

Just no point loss for being defeated or maybe have only the worst person of the 3 lose points not the whole team

1 ReplyThat’s the best when it’s 1v3. I get destroyed, but always learn something from it. Taking on 3 players causes a peak in awareness.

I'd rather have Bungie invest in it's matchmaking. It's astonishing that out of 6 players the best 3 of those match the worst 3.

3 RepliesI don't think that would work for the simple fact it would abused quite heavily, like for win boosting (to the other side). Also how would it work? If you are a team of blueberries, what if one or more didn't want to forfeit. You'd all have to agree.
