8 RepliesBungie having no clue. Iron banner is unfair because of power enabled. Now they allow it in a pvp pinnacle mode. Close to uninstalling the game.

Power Level & Artifact in Trials is a HUGE MISTAKE !!!

15 RepliesIt's a good move to deter carries and cheaters.

5 RepliesEdited by blade329: 2/27/2020 3:08:28 PMCorrect me if I'm wrong, but wasn't LL enabled for Trials in D1?

ALL I WANT TO SAY IS THEY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT US! ALL I WANT TO SAY IS THEY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT US!

9 RepliesSame as with raids. Both end game activities. You also can't play a Garden of Salvation for example when your light level is still 750 and enemies will also kill you faster when you have the minimum required light level. Good to know is that you can also get a higher light level when you play crucible all the time. At the start of the season everybody will have their base light level again without the boost from the artifact and probably going flawless in a week also gives you a pinnacle item. If you want to play elim where lightlevel doesn't matter you can still play the regular elim.

Light level needs to exist, but they have to do it right. There needs to be a cap. After 10 levels above the other player, no more multiplier. Or get rid of it entirely and put a light cap on people.

3 RepliesA Trials centered season is a godsend, I can focus on getting in shape for summer instead of worrying about what I'm missing in the game. This is actually closer to the truth than I'd care to admit to myself. From the game perspective though, it makes sense. It's a way to keep the free accounts from just being throwaways that bans mean nothing to. Of course dedicated servers are a better way, but that's not a Bungie option.

2 RepliesYou mean like it was all in D1? Shocking..

2 RepliesI will hate trials because skill base connection cause some Lag players....... this is nothing about game, it basic on setting with PvP modes.
-
I wouldnt mind it if they capped light in Trials. For example, max light in Trials is 960, you can go in at 920 but youre gonna have a rough time unless you hit the cap which is 960 for all.
-
That’s dumb af. I’ve hit a respectable 983 with the artifact which was more than enough for IB, and I don’t mind one week of chaos, but for a major PvP event to have LL enabled = big mistake.
-
The problem is bungie is allowing it to be free content. Which means hackers galore on PC. Then everyone will migrate back to console and the ddosing will begin.

4 RepliesGood, dont see why people have a problem with this, trials has always had LL advantage
-
It’s fine because activities, weapons, the artifact, maps etc are already balanced right?
-
Fs in the chat for trails.

1 ReplyI do like how it was followed up by commentary from another designer talking about how they're reviewing the sandbox and weapons and abilities and such so that they can create a fair experience. That went well I guess.

5 RepliesEdited by thatdudeEd54: 2/26/2020 6:56:42 AMIt was like that before in D1. Dont know why your surprised Edit: Yes artifact should be disabled geez im not stupid

I was hyped until I came to the forum and seen that the artifact will coincide t towards power level? If that's true then its almost as bad of an idea as removing trials in the first place. Oh well I give it a week before everyone hits the forum the complain and get it changed anyway. Power level is fine until you introduce the artifact.

Edited by michael: 2/26/2020 4:41:13 AMNot even kidding I audibly laughed out loud at that part. Light advantage is just another straw on the poor camel’s already long broken back

12 RepliesIf you HARD grind XP every week, you can casually win in Trials at that point by flexing your insane artifact power level boost. Yep, it's off to a good start.
