Titans
I’ve been thinking recently and I have realized that a lot of the most important characters in the stories of destiny are titans, and more npcs/known characters are titans. Just as npcs we have five titans and when it comes to the iron lords the most famous of them are titans. There are some warlocks(Osiris, Aunora, Ikora) who have weighty roles but not very many. There are even less hunters. Arguably the only impact hunters have had on the story is to die. Right now there is only one hunter that’s even a confirmed living hunter, Ana Bray, who’s had no real story impact. It just seems a bit unbalanced. Can we get diversity in the class of characters that matter to the story?

Cayde, shiro, Ana bray, eris, 10-1 uldrens a hunter, shin. That's off the top of my head. I'd say it's a fair split. Hunters less probably due to their edge lord loner mentality aren't around enough other people to document the exploits, whereas warlocks are space nerds that write down everything and titans just like to party in groups.

Edited by piratepatchy243: 1/27/2020 2:58:08 AMHow the hell are you forgetting Toland, it's only as of recently titans get the spotlight. Felwinter, Skorri, and Temur all warlocks and Iron Lords. There's also Pujari, Ulan-Tan, and there's notable orders like the Praxic and Thanatonaut. It does suck for hunters given the one with the biggest spotlight died, there's many notable ones though like Cayde's friend Andal Brask. Efrideet, Geleon, and Perun of the Iron Lords. Eris Morn, Omar Agah, and Sai Mota. The most notable being Shin Malphur and his mentor Jaren Ward, the only hunter order I heard of is Takanome's Rangers. There's a bit more alive and dead for titans( definitely more alive ), and more orders as well. I think this is more because they put themselves out there, and are literally seen as a glimming pillar of hope. I'll only mention the ones that detract from that, the most notable being Rezyl Azzir. Drifter( I think he's simply considered a lightbearer but was in the Pilgrim Guard), Kabr, and the whole Sunbreak Order.

Edited by RussellMania: 1/25/2020 10:15:32 PMAs a Warlock main, I don't think Warlocks or Hunters are under-represented at all. Maybe Hunters a tad. There's a lot of Hunter characters in the lore, but most of them haven't had a meaningful impact on the Universe.

3 RepliesTitans are there to smash their heads directly into conflict. If they're successful, they get recognition. Warlocks are like Asher, or Osiris. They're so caught up in their work that they never leave their planets of study. And Hunters just don't care enough. Think about Cayde, all he wanted to do was go on raids and get rich with his buddies.

Titans are your lawful good/neutral good characters that answer the call to duty. You'll find this class at the forefront of any major operation. It's a mirror of pokemon go teams. You pick the team your personality synergizes with the most. Or, you pick a team because thats what your irl friends play.

9 RepliesTitans are just the strongest and most heroic of the 3 classes. Plain and simple. Saint 14 in name alone, is more famous then all the "Legendary" hunters combined. (Except for maybe Shin Malphur) Titans built the walls that protect the last city. Gjallarhorn was made from the armor of Titans. Even on the opposite spectrum, we had Dredgen Yor. While evil, still famous.
