i've enjoyed destiny 1 and 2 quite a bit except for one or two, in my opinion, MAJOR flaws. in both games, the flaws i speak of are that if non pvp players want to get certain exotic weapons or armor, or just earn special items, they HAVE to play in pvp matches, even the gambit has a pvp aspect to it, which disgusts me to be honest. I'm not going to lie but its mainly because i don't do well in any form of pvp about 99% of the time. so forcing me to engage in PvP in more than one way is beyond frustrating because it creates an issue that's become a bit more common lately, hackers... but i digress, the point id hope to get across would be this... alter quest/missions for some of the more special weapons to fit the non PVP players too, make it so challenging bosses, or specific raid bosses, could give quest percentages like defeating guardians would... preferably... now the other part... i tend to be a solo player... so raids of any kind are pretty much not going to happen unless there is some form of matchmaking, even for the higher light levels, setting light level requirements would be nice, not just suggestions. for example, i could do the 920 light level nightfall's at any point below that light level, more or less. i would appreciate some kind of feedback on whether or not these ideas are going to be implemented or not, or if they've ever been considered

Edited by Swiftlock: 1/3/2020 1:53:51 AMGood. Not everyone is going to easily get every item. And that is 100% okay. There SHOULD be gear that is difficult to get and requires you to go out of your comfort zone. That's what makes it special. There are PvP players who hate PvE as well. It goes both ways.

Some quests like thorn and the last word were excessively pvp based but I think bungie has listened to feedback and the lumina and latest Saint 14 quest have been made much easier. I don't play pvp at all but I got 24 kills in one game using bygones. You can also do the quest in gambit. It's really not that bad.

1 ReplyStop crying every pvp player has to play more pve than what pve players have to play pvp. Just get the kills and move on.

6 RepliesYou want to get PvP pinnacles through PvE? That's a good one Then I want to earn gambit and vanguard pinnacles in PvP. Same with all of the raid armor and weapons including exotics. Oh wait, that's not how it works

5 RepliesYou aren't being forced. Pvp is part of the lore and so is incorporated into many parts of the game

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 1/2/2020 1:17:45 AMThere's lots of stuff locked behind pve too. Destiny has many facets. Bungie tries to promote those other side of destiny by having you play them. Some people don't know that they like something until they try it. I used to be a solo player, some of my friends recently came back for Shadow keep. I enjoy all the aspects of Destiny and it is a huge value to me.
